We never recommend skipping a survey!
Often to close on the sale or purchase of real estate in the name of a LLC, a title company will require a Resolution signed by all the owners naming the person who can sign for the deal. This is a resolution of members or shareholders without a meeting.
The operating agreement is one of the documents required when selling real estate from a company. It tells the title company who in the company has to agree to the sale and who has to sign. It's a critical document.
