🚽 Found this today as I was looking at houses. This is super weird, right? It’s not just me that feels uncomfortable looking at this?
It may not have a private dock on the lake, but you also couldn't find this much house at this price if it did! This home DOES have 30 feet of frontage on the lake and almost 2000 sq ft of living space AND an unfinished basement (stubbed for a bathroom!), and is listed under $500k! Oh, and did I mention there is also no HOA? Lake life is calling your name!

So happy for my clients on this one! We met in March, when they decided they would like to be closer to their daughter and grandkids. After a long time searching for just the right place, they are now in the same neighborhood instead of an hour and a half away. There are many great reasons to move. Family is one of the best.
I mean, it’s no Oscar or anything, but I’ll take it!
I haven’t done much work the past month or so because our family has grown! I do the work I do because it allows me to be present for these moments.
Took some time off to be present with my family and new baby (I’ll post a picture after this!) but it’s time to get back to work. Under contract in the Traditions of Braselton neighborhood!
I've been a little quiet concerning real estate recently, but for a good reason. Meet my new daughter, born 7/29/22!
After a couple weeks focused intently on my family, I'm ready to get back to work. Let me know how I can help you!
Part 3! Is now a good time to buy a home? Short answer: yes!
In my last two videos we talked about mortgage rates, and about real estate being a great hedge against inflation. With those two things in mind, and with a projection of increasing home values over the next few years, it's still a great time to buy a home!
If you want to talk about what your options are, whether that's now or in a year, let's grab a coffee (my treat) and talk about it together!
Should I Buy a Home Right Now? | July 2022 With mortgage rates rising from seven months ago, inflation increasing, and all of the other things happening right now, is it still a good time to buy a hom...
Did you know real estate is one of the best hedges against inflation? Even through most of our last few recessions, home values have INCREASED. (Want to guess which year that wasn't the case? Yep, 2008. In a different kind of market!)
Is it in your best interest to buy now, rather than later? Let's get together and talk about it!
Should you buy a home during a recession? The data says... Did you know that in most recessions, home values have still INCREASED in value? 2008 is the obvious exception, but this market is NOT like the market in 20...
"Mortgage rates have climbed so much since January, what do I do?!"
Don't panic! Let's take a step back and gain a broader perspective. Did you know that a rate of 6% is below the national average from 1971 through today?
Also, remember this about mortgage rates and buying a home: You marry the home, you date the rate. (Meaning you can always refinance later!)
This video is 1 of 3 I'll be sharing over the next few days, talking about the current landscape of the real estate market and some thoughts I have. Be on the lookout for the other 2!

My clients were able to close on this home yesterday, but it almost didn't happen! There was a lot of last minute communication happening, as well as some incredible service from MortgageRight Sam and Anisha Mauldin to get this home closed! When you're buying or selling something as important as a home, you need good people in your corner to help you if things get dicey. It's my honor to try to be one of those people for the clients I represent!
Wow, this is a beautiful home! 😍
My clients flew in on Tuesday evening on a mission to find the right home for their family, and we were able to get an accepted offer this morning. Congratulations and I hope there are many sweet memories made in this home!

"Marry the house; date the rate."
What does this mean?
It means buy the house you want. But committing to the house doesn't mean you have to commit to the financing available now forever. Smart homeowners always look for a better financing opportunity, and make the move when the time is right. You can always change your financing to more favorable terms later, should better rates and products become available. And if rates only get worse, then you'll be glad you married the house when you did.
