As a business owner, what would you say your biggest hurdle is right now?
I was working with a client yesterday who has been struggling to make moves on their goals for the business. She has a very clear vision about where she wanted to take the company, but she was having analysis paralysis because if she made the wrong decisions, she only had herself to blame.
So I sat down with her and began mapping out two directions that she could go so that she could point out where things might break down. This gave her the confidence to finally start making progress on those goals because she had already seen the pros and cons to either decision.
One of the most difficult things about being an entrepreneur is having to make all the decisions. While the ultimate choice will always remain yours, you do not have to try to figure out the "how" all on your own.
I can help you break down your complex problems, map out the process, and help you feel more aligned and confident in your plans to achieve your goals. I'm offering complimentary, no pressure 45-minute consults to help you sort through these types of problems. If you're interested in booking a session, comment below or shoot me a DM.
Looking forward to seeing who I can help get unstuck next!
Crafting a simple and understandable plan empowers your business to thrive in the face of complexity. It aligns your team, streamlines ex*****on, and enables agile adaptation. Embrace simplicity, communicate effectively, and continuously refine your plan to navigate the path to business success with clarity and confidence.
As the visionary of your company, you are the one that is the "big idea generator" that solves the potential customer's problem (or problems)...
The problem I've seen a lot of visionaries face is that they have too many ideas that could solve the problem and not enough focus or direction in one particular solution.
The ideas are great, but ex*****on is poor because a combination of solutions turns into a mess.
My job, as an integrator, takes a look at your ideas and business goals and creates a clear path to get there...no more frankenstein plans that just feel ike throwing spaghetti at a wall!
All of this talk about food makes me hungry, so I'm going to go warm up my lunch while you decide if you're ready to stop spinning our wheels and make some traction...🍝🤤
As Bob Ross would say "There are no mistakes, just happy accidents." 😎
What are some entrepreneurial risks you've taken that turned into "happy accidents?"
One of the most important lessons I learned in my time as an Officer in the military was to plan for problems ahead of time. You can't effectively plan for success without looking at the mission from all angles.
Most entrepreneurs take a challenge and build a plan in a straight line from A to B...but what happens when you encounter a roadblock between your 2 points? Do you turn around and go home? No, you've got to find a way over it or around it.
That can be stressful.
However, if you plan for alternate routes ahead of time you (and your team) won't miss a beat when roadblocks show up...and trust me, they always show up.
This can seem overwhelming, so if you need someone to help you plan all the possible routes to success, I am here to help! Shoot me a message so we can jump on the phone together. I have tons of resources I'd be happy to give you, or we can talk about how we can work together long-term.
As the visionary of your company, you may not always know the "right" next step, but you do know that you have a vision for your business and you're super clear on what that looks like.
How do you get there? That's going to take some dilberate planning and getting the right people in the right seats...because I'm going to assume you've already discovered you can't do it all by yourself forever (without pulling your hair out and missing out on life with the ones you love).
It's okay if you don't know what's next. I'd love to sit and chat with you about what's going on in your business and sort out some of your biggest problems. My inbox is always open!
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts." - Winston Churchill
As we all know, setbacks are an inevitable part of the entrepreneurial journey, but it's how we handle them that defines our success.
Here are 4 strategies I have learned to help bounce back even stronger after a setback...
❓ Ask yourself "what is the lesson here?" - Take the time to reflect on what went wrong and identify the valuable lessons hidden within. Each failure is an opportunity to learn, adapt, and refine your approach. Embrace the lessons learned, and they'll become the catalysts for future success.
🧠 Get your mind right! - A resilient mindset is your armor against adversity. Instead of dwelling on failure, focus on your strengths, celebrate small victories, and maintain a positive outlook. Remember, failure is temporary, but your determination and resilience are everlasting.
👥 Find support - You're not alone on this journey. Reach out to fellow entrepreneurs, mentors, or support networks. Share your experiences, gain fresh perspectives, and draw inspiration from those who have walked a similar path. Surround yourself with a community that uplifts and supports you through the highs and lows.
🏔 Take calculated risks - Entrepreneurship is inherently risky, but calculated risks are the fuel of innovation and growth. Learn to assess risks, weigh potential rewards, and make informed decisions. Don't let the fear of failure paralyze you; instead, let it ignite your courage to take calculated leaps of faith.
Remember, failure is not the end of your journey; it's a necessary part of the path to success. Embrace it, learn from it, and let it propel you forward. Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below.
Never forget.
As an entrepreneur, your time is valuable. By outsourcing tasks and enlisting support, you free up precious hours to focus on strategic initiatives and high-impact activities. Whether it's administrative work, social media management, or customer support, getting help allows you to channel your energy where it truly matters.
But here's the best part...delegating tasks brings a fresh perspective and expertise to the table. When you collaborate with skilled professionals or virtual assistants, you tap into their specialized knowledge and capabilities. They become an extension of your team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
Don't let overwhelm hold you back from achieving greatness. It's time to embrace the power of delegation and reclaim your time. Whether you hire freelancers, work with virtual assistants, or outsource to experts, getting help is a game-changer.

Want to leave a lasting impression on your customers and prevent any bumps along the way? Look no further than SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Here's why they're a game-changer👇
SOPs ensure consistent excellence in customer service. By documenting best practices, you create a solid foundation for your team to follow, guaranteeing every interaction is exceptional. Consistency builds trust and loyalty, setting you apart from the competition.
But the real magic happens when SOPs prevent bad customer experiences. By mapping out the customer journey, you identify potential pitfalls and address them proactively. With clear procedures in place, your team can navigate any scenario, handle complaints, and deliver quick solutions. Embrace the power of SOPs and watch customer satisfaction soar!

Are you ready to conquer challenges and unlock your full potential? Goal setting is the key that opens the door to success. Here's why:
Setting clear goals provides a roadmap for your business, guiding you towards your desired destination. It's like having a compass that keeps you on track, even when obstacles arise. When you define your goals, you gain clarity on what you want to achieve and can align your efforts accordingly.
But here's the real magic: goal setting helps you tackle those pesky problems head-on. When you set specific goals, you're essentially identifying the gaps between where you are and where you want to be. These gaps represent the problems or obstacles that need to be overcome.
By breaking down your goals into actionable steps, you create a structured approach to problem-solving. Each step becomes a puzzle piece that fits into the bigger picture, gradually solving the challenges you encounter along the way. As you make progress towards your goals, you gain valuable insights and develop innovative solutions.
Goal setting also brings focus and discipline to your business. It helps you prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and stay motivated. When you have a clear target in sight, you're less likely to get sidetracked by distractions or overwhelmed by the enormity of the problems you face.
Ready for some good news? I've got a FREE resource that will supercharge your goal-setting journey. The Goal Setting Strategy is a comprehensive guide filled with practical tips and strategies to set and achieve your business goals effectively.

In your entrepreneurial journey, it's crucial to have the right people in the right seats. By leveraging their unique skills and expertise, you can lighten your workload, boost productivity, and achieve more of your goals.
When you start your entrepreneurial journey, you typically start out "wearing all of the hats," but there comes a time when you are going to hit a wall and decide the way you are operating isn't sustainable. So, here's what to do when you are considering to start outsourcing some of those tasks:
First things first, take a moment to reflect on your core competencies—the things you excel at and that truly drive your business. These are your bread and butter, so it's wise to focus your energy there. Now, let's identify those tasks that fall outside your area of expertise.
Consider the tasks that eat up a significant chunk of your time. You know, those never-ending administrative duties or the endless social media management. These tasks may be crucial, but they're also time-consuming. That's where outsourcing can save the day, freeing you up to focus on strategic initiatives and high-impact areas.
Next up, think about the tasks that require specialized expertise. You're a superhero, but no one can be an expert in everything. Identify those areas where you lack the necessary skills or knowledge. By outsourcing to professionals with the right know-how, you'll benefit from their expertise while saving yourself time and effort.
Now, let's talk money. Evaluate the cost-benefit ratio of outsourcing. Crunch the numbers and consider the return on investment (ROI) against the expense. Remember, outsourcing can often be more cost-effective than hiring full-time employees, especially for tasks that aren't permanent or require occasional attention.
Think growth! Pinpoint those tasks directly tied to your business's growth and revenue generation. It could be sales, marketing, or business development. By outsourcing certain aspects of these activities, you can tap into specialized skills and propel your business forward faster.
One more thing—scalability. Keep an eye on the future and consider tasks that can easily scale up or down as your business evolves. Flexibility is key, allowing you to adapt to changing demands without being limited by internal resources.
Need more help on how to stop doing everything on your own and REALLY grow? Shoot me a message, I'd love to talk to you!
Your team isn't looking to you because of your expertise. They are looking to you because they trust you to steer the ship in the right direction and genuinely care about them.
Trust is the bedrock of any successful team. Good leaders cultivate trust by being honest, transparent, and reliable. They establish clear communication channels, encourage open dialogue, and lead with integrity. When trust is established, collaboration thrives, and individuals feel empowered to take risks and innovate.
Do you agree or disagree?
Some days you feel like you are on top of the world, and then the next day you feel like everything sucks and nothing is working...
Anyone relate?🙋♂️
But just like a roller coaster, the thrill is what keeps us shouting "LET'S GO AGAIN!"
What makes the ride even more enjoyable is having people around you that support you and can help you achieve your goals.
I love helping people reach their goals! I realized this when I was teaching young soldiers how to become leaders in the military. So, when I got out I realized I could do the same thing for business owners by using my superpower...my ability to break down complex problems and lay them out into actionable tasks to get the job done by a certain date.
If you need help solving problems, making decisions, and making a plan to move forward in your business, my inbox is always open and I would be happy to talk to you about it.
Don't stay stuck! Let's get you on your way to cruching those 2023 goals!
According to a survey by Gallup, entrepreneurs experience higher levels of stress compared to other workers. Around 45% of entrepreneurs reported experiencing a lot of stress, compared to 42% of non-entrepreneurs.
If you're an entrepreneur, on a scale of 1 to 10, how stressed would you say you are?
Is your strategy just "flying by the seat of your pants?" ✈️👖Or "throwing spaghetti at a wall to see what sticks?" 🍝
I get it. When you're an entreprenuer, you're wearing all the hats. Everyone looks at you to decide the next move...even though you just got your license to fly and you are just hoping for the best.
You know what every pilot has though? A co-pilot.
✔️Someone to assist with pre-flight checks.
💬Somene one who can communicate clearly and provide instruction when needed.
📋Someone to help execute operational procedures.
🎯Someone who contributes to flight planning (like calculating fuel requirements, analyzing routes, and considering factors like airspace restrictions and weather conditions)
🆘Someone who is ready to take action in an emergency.

Goal Setting for Business Success
Hey entrepreneurs and business owners, I wanted to share some insights on goals going into 2023. In business we often create goals, but rarely do we set ourselves up for success in creating the traction to achieve those goals. Today I want to share, Why goals are important, How your business should be setting up goals, SMART goals, actionable tasks and tracking, tying it all together.
Why are goals important
1. They provide guidance and direction
2. They provide purpose, motivation, and drive
3. They create focus
4. They are proven to increase productivity and performance
5. They create accountability
6. They are essential for achieving success
How your business should be setting up goals
1. Start with your ONE long term goal (10, 5, 3 years out) from an organizational perspective. Here are your requirements:
a. Revenue goal in 10 or 5 years out
b. 100% buy in from all executives (if your team isn’t on board your doomed before you start the journey)
c. ONE sentence, ONE goal describing the revenue, and key elements of the organization (offerings/services/products)
d. Your goal must be influenced by the organization (winning the lottery isn’t something you can influence, generating $ 1 million in revenue is.
2. Refine that goal down, If you started at 10 what is reasonable at 5 years, or 3?
3. Once we have our 3 year vision we can look at setting annual goals.
4. Establish 3 to 6 ANNUAL goals. The more complex, the less you should have.
5. Next, create 2-4 quarterly objectives at the ORGANIZATIONAL level that support EACH of those annual goals.
6. At this point if you’re a small organization you are ready to create your strategy to achieve those quarterly objectives. if you are a larger business with multiple departments, the executives and management should determine which annual goals and quarterly objectives are primarily the responsibility of each department.
SMART Goals
All your goals should be written as SMART goals once you solidify and agree on them. Smart goals are:
1. Specific: Make sure your goal is clear and defined.
2. Measurable: Establish milestones and track progress.
3. Achievable: Make sure the goal is realistic and attainable.
4. Relevant: Make sure the goal is aligned with your overall mission.
5. Time-based: Set a timeline for achieving the goal.
Creating action and tracking goals
At this point we are creating actionable tasks and you’re tracking KPIs.
1. Creating KPIs and what they should provide:
a. Key measurables for your goals, and business
b. The documented goals
c. Quarterly Objectives
d. Leading measures (what action needs to be taken to achieve the Objectives, Goals, and KPIs)
e. Tracking timelines (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly)
f. Who is responsible for the KPIs
Once you have your KPIs outlined you can write your annual strategy, this may seem like a repetitive step but is solidifies your strategy, chronologically lays it out, and create clear communication because the document can be used to communicate across your team, and business.
Tying it all together
Congratulations, you have set your business up for success for the next 10 years. Now all that left is to take the plan put it into action and add reviews to your schedule. I recommend weekly to bi-weekly reviews of these KPIs as an organization but at minimum monthly. These objectives change quarterly, and you want to ensure you are tracking towards your goals to reach them.
This process should be done annually over a 2-day period to ensure a deliberate, organized process and re-visited every 90 days for necessary adjustments to your strategy based on your performance and data. Good luck, crush 2023.
