Due to a family bereavement, we regret to inform you that we have had to extend our closure.

Our Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather passed away peacefully at 103 years old.

Chopstix will reopen on Tuesday, August 6th.

Happy July 4th! 4 decades ago, our family left our birth country of Vietnam and came to America. With nothing in our pockets, just a dream. You took us in gracefully with no questions asked and gave us freedom and opportunity and for that we are forever in debt of your generosity. No words can ever describe our gratitude. As a small family-owned business, we believe in the importance of rest and recharging. Chopstix will be closing from July 7th-July 31st to allow our family to enjoy some much-needed time off. We will reopen on August 1st at 11:00.

Dear Chopstix friends and family,

As we navigate the seasons of life, we occasionally encounter milestones that call for celebration and reflection with those we hold dear. The first weekend in May presents such a cherished moment for our family as we celebrate a significant milestone: the graduation of one of our children from Dental School!

In the spirit of family and togetherness, we have decided to take a brief pause and will be closing our doors from Thursday, May 2nd until Tuesday, May 7th to partake in the graduation festivities and honor this momentous occasion.

We understand that our restaurant has become a part of many of your own family traditions and gatherings, and we apologize for any inconvenience our brief closure may cause. We are immensely grateful for your understanding, continuous support, and being part of our extended family. We look forward to welcoming you back with open arms and big smiles on Tuesday, May 7th. We are very lucky that there was not a lot damage as Hurricane Idalia passed Gainesville. We have power and will open at 11:00 today at our normal time.
