The US Patent & Trademark Office made it official today... I was officially issued Design Patent D701944 today for my new needleless valve design!

I am working on my latest patented device... a delivery set for infusing blood more rapidly and efficiently that will help save the lives of our injured warfighters on the battlefield. I will share more details in the near future... but it looks like we will be performing a clinical trial at Walter Reed. I could not be more proud of our small, but rapidly growing medical device company. We are a force to be reckon with in this field... and it is all about our people. We have the best employees and we are driving innovation in healthcare. I could not do what I do without my staff and the portfolio of IP we are building is evidence of that.

Happy to announce the addition of Charles "Chip" Eno Jr to my staff at as our new Director of Corporate Technology. I am excited to have Chip and his 40+ years of technology management experience our growing and dynamic company. Welcome aboard Chip!!!

Installing our newest form, fill and seal machine... obviously the throughput will increase, but also expands our contract packaging to kits and trays, etc. Very exciting news for RGI Medical and Henora Healthcare.

The Henora Healthcare division of RGI Medical will be announcing an acquisition right after the first of the year... stay tuned!!! Closing out 2010 strong and looking for a record year in 2011!!!

The new RGI product sheets are just about ready and will mail at the beginning of April 2010
