Meet Florida Sea Grant UF/IFAS Taylor County Marine Extension Agent III Victor Blanco. Victor’s major programs focus on recreational fishing, scallop harvesting, and Florida’s artificial reef program.🪸🐠

“The most fun part of my job is to be able to teach others about coastal and marine issues outdoors, in close contact with the ocean. Whether it is counting horseshoe crabs at the shoreline, scallops over seagrass beds, counting fish at artificial reefs, cleaning up marine debris, helping stranded sea creatures, or seining with kids, it is always fun to do what I do and educate those around me.”
