Drive-in theaters were all the rage in the 50s and 60s.
They provided a large screen to watch a new movie, food and drinks and a semi-private location for dating. While not as common as they once were, drive-in theaters still have a fan base willing to pay, and this can be a lucrative business. That’s why we are thinking that a drive-in theater will be a good idea for a small business in Gainesville.
