Let's examine the Laticrete Lite wall float application on a relatively new parking garage. Initially, there were issues with the thin brick veneer applied conventionally, leading to failure. Prince George County chose a different approach by using Laticrete products for reapplying the brick veneer.

The process consists of two main steps:

The first step involves applying Laticrete Lite Wall Float, a top-notch product for securing adhered masonry veneers, which can be applied at depths up to 3/4" thick.

The second step includes using MVIS Veneer Mortar, a patented polymer-fortified mortar suitable for installing various materials like adhered masonry veneer, natural manufactured stone, and thin brick. This high-performance mixture offers exceptional non-sag properties for vertical installations, ensuring strong bonding with the substrate and selected veneers. Moreover, the product is reinforced with fibers for increased durability.

Thanks to the effective combination of Laticrete Lite Wall Float and MVIS Veneer Mortar, this project is now completed successfully and secure.
