This week, we are stepping into a series called, Fan Into Flame: Igniting Our Faith. Here at Harlem Road Church, we want to see faith ignited in the hearts of God's people and disciples of Jesus passionately responding to His call on our lives: Follow me.

Begin to pray with us for God to make new disciples of Jesus Christ through this series - for faith to increase like we haven't seen before - for healing to overcome people by the supernatural power of God - and for the Kingdom of God to grow leaps and bounds in our church and community!

Our new Marriage Life Group kicks off Sept. 19, and our OWLS Life Group is hosting a Buckeye Tailgate on Sept. 17!

Today is a very special morning of worship! Join us as we bless and send Larry and Tahna Pasqua into their next season of life - one that will be closer to their family in Louisiana. During both worship services, we will have a moment to thank them for their faithful service at Harlem Road Church and to pray for them as we surround them in love. We will celebrate with cake and treats in between services at 10a.

Kids these days....they sure do face a lot of challenges. Every generation has its share of struggles, but technology (amongst other things) has just added a new layer. So how can we, as adults help the children of this generation grow in their faith so that when they face an issue, they turn to Jesus? Join us this weekend in worship to find out!

It's invite your enemy to church Sunday! (Wait....what what?) We'd imagine that's how the people listening to Jesus' Sermon on the Mount felt after He spoke these words recorded in Matthew 5:44-45, "But I [Jesus] tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father in heaven."

Join us this Sunday as we continue our sermon series, Kids These Days: Discipling the Next Generation, and talk about what it means to love our enemies. What is Jesus really asking us to do here and what does it require of us to live out His mission for us in these scriptures? We have a great call upon our lives to live out the Gospel and reveal to others the Kingdom of God!

Good morning church family! We can't wait to see you for worship this morning! We're kicking off a new sermon series: "Kids These Days"...and we will have a special moment of prayer and "Blessing of the Backpacks" over all of our students and teachers who are starting a new school year. See you soon!

Join us this Sunday for a special day of blessing the backpacks and all work bags as school begins this year! Our Family Ministry has prepared a time of blessing and prayer over all who are heading back to school. All students will receive a keychain that can easily be placed on their bag to remind them of God's love and guidance every day of their lives.

Following the back to school theme, we will also kick off our brand new series this Sunday, Kids These Days: Discipling the Next Generation. Here at Harlem Road Church, we have a big heart to raise the next generation to be passionate followers of Jesus Christ. As we commit ourselves to what that looks like, this series will help us focus on what kids need from adults to have a thriving relationship with Jesus.

We're looking forward to this series as we learn from the next generation who have already been instrumental in shaping the message for this week. Pray with us as we open our hearts and lives to the mission of Jesus and the great call upon each one of us to help one another grow in faith.

It's back to school week for many of our local students. We covered our community in prayer as part of our prayer walk this past Sunday...let's take time today to keep this momentum going. Take a minute and pray for some students today. Name them, pray for them, boldly ask for God to do FAR more than we could ever ask or imagine in their lives this year and beyond.
