MY DATE WITH A PR******TE
By Josh Stoneman
While in Malaysia in November, I had a weekend to rest and explore the city. I headed out without a plan, other than the goal to take pictures around the city and river.
After winding through huge markets and different areas of the city, I had finally made it to the river. Spotting a nearby bench, I sat down for a little while to scope out the surroundings.
Shortly after sitting on a small bench, a young woman came and sat next to me. I could see from her poorly done makeup and the way she dressed that I was probably a customer to her.
I suspected her business was prostitution.
She introduced herself as Anette*. I told her my name, and as we sat in silence, my heart began to break.
My question of, āhow are you today?ā broke the silence. Although she didnāt speak fluent English, she spoke it well enough for small talk. We spent a few minutes talking about the river and the city, small things like that.
Finally, I asked what she did for work. She explained in broken English that her job was to have s*x. When she said this I could tell she was partly ashamed to admit this and also partly wondering if I was interested.
I told her, āI am not a customer; I am a friend.ā
By looking at her somewhat anorexic figure, I assumed she didnāt eat often. So I asked her what restaurants she recommended in the area. After she said the name of a place within sight, I offered to buy her lunch. She agreed and I wondered what I had just done! This womanās appearance made it obvious about her tradeā¦ what would people think?
As we walked I looked to see the faces turn to watch her. Other women looked at her in a disapproving way, men looked at her and then me as if knowing what was going on.
Out of insecurity of the situation, I explained to her again that I was not a customer and did not want anything in return. She said she understood so I let the situation play out.
When we sat down at this riverside restaurant, I could tell from her body language she felt out-of-place. āHave people taken you out to eat before?ā I asked. She said, āNo, never!ā
While waiting for our food, I got to know Anette a little better. She is 25 and travels back and forth from the rice fields for work. Itās the off-season, however, so she doesnāt have any work back at her home.
Meaning she has to find an alternative to afford things like food, water, and a place to live.
I asked her a little bit more about her work. She explained, āI donāt like my work but what can I do?ā The way she said this made it obvious that she didnāt want to do this work at all.
But she couldnāt figure out another way.
When she locked eyes with me and said, āYou are good man,ā I took the opportunity to share the Gospel with her. I tried my best to explain it in a way that she would understand, but the language barrier was strong. I tried to make sure that she at least knew the name Jesus.
After that, I knew the best thing I could do was show Jesus to her.
I kept prodding about her life and found out that because her mom passed away, she takes care of her 7-year-old sister. I then asked Anette what she liked to do for fun. She said, āI donāt like work but I like having a customer. At least then Iām not alone. I donāt like being alone. Because of travel and work I have no friends.ā
After our food came to the table, she asked my permission to get it to-go so her sister could eat some of it. I agreed even after she refused to let me buy her sister her own meal. Then I remembered the market I walked through earlier. I asked her if she and her sister had enough clothes. She said no so I offered to buy her clothes and she excitedly agreed.
My experience in the market was very different this time. Before, every vendor called out to me, āSIR SIR, would you like shirt? Would you like camera?ā Whatever the vendor was selling was being called out to me, but not this time.
Vendors saw me with this woman and looked away, embarrassed. It was a lot quieter than before. We eventually found jeans and shirts, and for $32 she was able to get a few outfits for her and her sister, including a brand new pair of shoes.
As we continued to talk and get to know each other, my heart continued to break. It broke for the way people looked at her, it broke for the way she looked at herself, and it broke for the way people looked at us together.
People assumed they knew whatās going on. They looked at her with contempt for what she does and what she represents.
But I know the truth
I know that this woman isnāt just a pr******te, she is an heir. I know that this precious woman is a princess and the King of Kings died for her. I know she is worth more than $20 dollars for 4 hours and that she is treasured beyond belief.
I know she is valued and loved to an extent I will only fully comprehend in heaven.
After she got her outfit, I gave her a few extra dollars and we parted ways. It was only then that Anette finally believed that I didnāt want anything.
When I told her I had to go I could see [the] shock on her face. Her expression showed her disbelief in what just happened.
I saw her walk away happy to find her sister with new clothes in one hand and a meal in the other. I realized, this is what Jesus does for us. He sees us in a way that no one else may. He gives us more than new clothes and a meal ā He gives us a new name. We sell ourselves to the things in this world all the time, but He takes us and buys us back. He loves us with a love that cannot be described.
We can more accurately demonstrate this love through actions rather than words. Go show people love today!
*The true name of this woman has been changed to protect her privacy.*

This article was a MUST READ for me this morning! So encouraging for how we do things at the FHMCC! Tell us what YOU think.
THE PROBLEM WITH 'NICE GUY JESUS' by Ethan Renoe
Youāve definitely heard it in the songs. Take for instance The Killers, who make Jesus seem like a guy youād like to bring home to mom & dad:
He doesnāt look a thing like Jesus
but he talks like a gentleman
like you imagined when you were young
Think about it for a secondā¦how closely does this line up with the Jesus presented to us in the Bible?
-Heās homeless.
-He is relatively ugly.
-Heās poorāto the point that women are traveling with & supporting Him. (But He always pays His taxesā¦sometimes with coins that pop out of fish mouths)
-He sometimes loses His anger and flips over tables in a fit of rage.
-He is constantly, publicly cursing all the pastors in your town whom the rest of the community reveres. etc.
Would you really want to bring Him home to ma & pa?
How about another example, this one from Tom Petty regarding the followers of Jesus:
Sheās a good girl, loves her mamma.
Loves Jesus, and America too.
Same idea. How do we know sheās a good girl? Well, because she loves Jesus and America (but weāll ignore that association for now). Itās ironic because the most radical, dedicated Christ followers I know are not necessarily what the world would consider nice, quiet girls like the ones Petty refers to. Theyāre usually the ones who have sold their homes or belongings and live with the poorest of the poor. Or the ones people think are drug addicts.
Rich Mullins went barefoot everywhere, didnāt have a home, and gave the vast majority of his money to Native Americans.
Mother Teresa had disgusting feet because of how she dug through each shoe donation box and pulled out the worst possible pair for herself.
My friend Josh would always scream at the top of his lungs when he saw me in the streets of Chicago, even from three blocks away, āHEY ETHAN! I LOVE YOU MAN! PRAISE GOD MAN!ā Everyone on those three blocks hears, then looks at him and then at me. Heās a bit wild and unpredictable, not unlike John the Baptist. Josh and his wife sold all their things and moved to Cambodia a few years ago, where they also work with some of the poorest people in the world.
Are these the type of people who come to mind when you hear āFree Fallingā?
Have we replaced the Jesus of the Bible with some soft, mushy milquetoast? Do we imagine a lamb-hugging dude (whichā¦never happened in the Bible) whose greatest characteristic is that Heās really nice?
If thatās all Christianity can cough up in regards to its central figure, Iād want nothing to do with it. Nor would most guys I know. Probably most women, for that matter.
Whatās more, if Jesus is nothing more than nice, that means His followers need to do nothing other than be nice. Is that all the kingdom is about? Is that why I got āyour kingdom comeā tattooed over my heart, just to remind me to be more nice?
Niceness alone wonāt save the world. Niceness wonāt overthrow the Third Reich, dole out justice for s*x traffickers, or fix systemic racism.
Yet this caricature of Christ has sunk so deeply into our collective subconscious that we blindly accept these references to Nice Guy Jesus without a second thought. Then, when we do get around to cracking our Bibles open, weāre surprised that He sometimes says mean things,
that He gets pretty heated and goes nuts,
that He wonāt let go of this idea that He is actuallyā¦God,
that He comes a second time wearing a robe drenched in blood,
that He looks at the religious teachers of His time and basically says fā you.
Wait a minuteā¦I thought Jesus was nice!
Are you reading the Bible through the tainted lens of our culture, or are you reading the Bible as it is? Are you letting Jesus be who He is, as presented in the Bible, or have you also fallen prey to this strange character known as Nice Guy Jesus?
Granted, there are myriad weird presentations of Jesus in mainstream media. Thereās Kanye Westās Prosperity Jesus (āMan howās you get so much favor on your side?/ Accept Him as your Lord and Savior, I repliedā), or Family Guyās straight-up weird manifestation who sometimes appears in random episodes.
Perhaps some of the more accurate depictions of the Carpenter from Nazareth come from people earnestly seeking answers to the worldās most complex questions. Noah Gundersen asked Him through heartrending vibrato,
Jesus, Jesus, could you tell me what the problem is
With the world and all the people in it? ā¦
Jesus, Jesus, there are those that say they love you
But they have treated me so goddamn meanā¦
If all the heathens burn in hell, do all their children burn as well?
What about the Muslims and the g**s and the u***d mothers?
What about me and all my friends? Are we all sinners if we sin?
Does it even matter in the end if weāre unhappy?
More haunting questions are asked by Brand New in their song āJesusā:
Well, Jesus Christ, Iām not scared to die
Iām a little bit scared of what comes after
Do I get the gold chariot?
Do I float through the ceiling?
Do I divide and fall apart?
And the ship went down in sight of land
And at the gates does Thomas ask to see my hands?
The bottom line here is that, if you get your theology (or your Christology) from pop songs, TV shows, or basically anything but the Bible itself, youāll end up with an inaccurate picture of who Jesus is and what He came to do. If itās been a while since youāve opened the Bible for yourself, you may be surprised at the Jesus you find.
He will not be just nice, nor will He be a tormenting monster trying to throw all the gay people into hell. Youāll find a Jesus who snaps when people are thinking too small of God and His kingdom, but one who is also the friend of pr******tes and other outcasts.
Heās not just any one of those things either; He is a lot of things.
He is complex, and perhaps this is why culture has such a hard time categorizing Him. Sadly, evangelicalism seems to have pigeon-holed Him as just a super nice guy, most likely because this is a safe bet, and if thereās anything we know about evangelical culture, itās that itās safe. (Maybe because people get banned when theyāre edgy or just use the word āpen*s.ā )
The Jesus of the Bible is far more interesting (much less, true) than any of these mainstream iterations of Him. May we familiarize ourselves with Him so much that we can identify fallacies in misrepresentations, but also see truth wherever it may exist.
And as Calvin said, may we seek Christ purely for the joy of seeking Christ.

Breaking the Chain of Abuse.
While itās true that Some Women Hate all Men because some Man Hurt Themā¦.Its Also True that A Boy who is hurt by His Mother Or Father May spend most of his Adult Life Hating and Abusing Women!!!
If you are full of Poisonous Thoughts or have an Ungrateful Attitude, there is No Way To Keep it from Affecting Your Entire Life!
The problem in life is thisā¦ We never go to the source of the problem. We think we can cover it up with a band-aid and it will heal. News flash. It won't! It will become infected and only get worse. Which leads us to run scared in FEAR that were gonna be hurt because,āItās what happened before; We have to let Old Wounds heal. Remember this: NOT ALL PEOPLE PLACED IN OUR LIVES ARE OUT TO HURT US!! If we could stop for just a moment and TRY TO UNDERSTAND and FEEL one anothers PAIN: We could learn to see that God IS Trying to TAKE THE PAIN AWAY but we have to do our part and allow ourselves to heal. the Bible says Come to me All who is Heavy Burden And I Will Give You Rest!!
Iāve Always Thought I had to Know all the Answersā¦ I have a horrible habit of taking Control of My life and for the first time I Am Learning to Let Go and Just Live Each and every day to the Fullest; I realize I donāt have to understand why things happen the way they do; I just have to TRUST that There Will be some Good which Will come out of the tragedy and pain; Because Gods is In Control. We just have to learn to be aware of those around us and the Role that they Play in our lives. Some Come to Teach us Lessons, Some Come to give us Rest! But Each Person in your Life Holds a Key Itās your Choice on rather you take this Key and Use it to Open New Doors.
FORGIVE YOURSELF
If your having trouble making peace with the Ashes of your life, First start by forgiving yourself, then Start to forgive the ones who have hurt you! Sometimes we have to learn the Proper way to help another heal from the Pain!! You must slowly Gain Someoneās Trust, Be Continually Forgiving, but Learn to stand Up for Yourself during this Process. There are those Who Can And Will do their Best to Bring You Down IN every way they can!! The Devil is Real the spirit of darkness wants you fail!! Let your Heart which should be lead By the SPIRIT of GOD be your Guide out of the Darkness!! Stop and think:ā¦.Is it My own Insecurities or Past Memories that Stop Me from Harvesting What I Deserve?? Since Choosing to Let Go of the bad and negative things I was holding onto; God Is Finally starting to show Me a glimpse of my Future Iām starting to understand why so Many Bad Things Happened to me as a child; things I was scared to Reveal to any one till I was Older In Age. God is Making Me Strong, A Warrior for his Kingdom, Giving me a Reason for standing up and Be Bold. While Reading Beauty to Ashes By Joyce Meyers I Began to realize; That when were born We are Wired to be one way, so If we are use to being abused We will Start to Pull Negative Abusing People To us! No matter what the Mess in your life might be God can and will take and fix it if we give it to Him.
Just start by forgiving yourself, then forgive others.
Matthew 6:9-15 This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one;For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Just Ask, God will Open The Door (sometimes You have to Verbally Ask Others As Wellā¦Learn to Trust the Holy Spirit) Do you God Can Give Us Love beyond all Measure. Yes forgiveness Requires Us to Look Past Ourselves (be humble and show humility). We have to understand and realize that others are holding on to just as much Pain As You. Learn the Art of Compassion Please donāt confuse this with PITY!! They are two Different Things Entirely!! God Says Come Just As You ARE!! I Love You!! I donāt Care Who You Think You are!! Let ME Show You who you are!! 1 Corinthians 13 :11 Says When I was a Child, I Spoke as a Child, I understood As a Child: But When I Became a MAN (WOMAN) I PUT CHILDISH WAYS BEHIND ME! We donāt have to be perfect to be a child of Christ. Its Our Imperfections That he Loves the Most!! Itās When We are At Our Weakest and Call Upon Him To Help us out of the Mess And Chaos, When We Willingly Enter In to His Presents With Out the Power Of the HOLY GHOST, Stepping Out on Faith and Trusting That If itās Of GOD THERE WILL BE NOTHING TO FEAR That God begins to Work A Miracle and Turns the Mess in to A Masterpiece. Remeber You CAN Do All Things Through CHRIST WHO STRENGHTENS YOU.
Iām not perfect My Past Is Pure Madness to Say the Least; But Since learning to TRUST GOD I have been able to see that Even though we go Through Horrible, Terrifying, Almost In Human things: It was all Part of the Greater Plan. God Can take all Bad things and Make them Beautiful. Due to being abuse as a Child; I spent so much of my teens and early Twentyās thinking I was Ugly Filthy Good for nothing. I spent So Much Time Hiding behind the FAKE SMILE THAT I JUST BECAME NUMB TO LIFE; Behind the Smile I also hid all the Pain and the Addictions. I first accepted Christ as my savior when I was just a young child and though I followed my own road for many years four years ago I stepped into a new chapter and fully submitted to Christ and I am not ashamed to say that Jesus Is my Piolet!! I mess Up all the time; Iām learning As I goā¦I wake up every Morning Breathing, My children are well and Smiling and There IS a roof over our head Iām blessed in every way possible, Thankful as well. Just changing the way I think has Changed My attitude to those around me. God Reminds Me Daily to THINK AND DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!! I know There will be bumps and road blocks but He will always Be Walking with me, Even carrying me from time to time! God has shown me who I am: Iām Beautiful, Strong, Confident, Loving, Affectionate, and Giving, and I can Do All Through Christ Who strenghthens Me!
In closing I just want to say āDonāt Let Fear Rule Your Lifeā. Just as a child learns to overcome the fear of the Fall; We To Must Learn the Same Lesson Each time we FALL. Psalms says a righteous man falls seven times and gets back up. So as long as we get up Dust ourselves offā¦.and Try and Try again God will never Leave us or forsake us there is Freedom and Healing Waiting for you. And if your not a Christian and your Reading this Please Pray this Simple Prayer āLord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always.ā if you Prayed this Simple Prayer You are Saved, Start Reading the Bibleā¦Find a Good Bible Based Church and if you dont know of One then Please by all means leave a comment below with the Area in which you live and I will Look for one and help guide you in the Right Direction.

Provision from God isnāt about waiting around in a prayer room and He drops a bank roll on your head. Itās not a fantasy where we do nothing and God changes everything. He has given us free will, and has promised to be our Provider. Yet.... the Bible teaches about OUR part in provision. Hereās a few insights
š°š° Donāt chase fantasies. Weāre told that if we chase something that isnāt real poverty is waiting for us. God can double your wage. But without any skill set growth thatās a fantasy.
š°š° Work faithfully. Weāre told that if we donāt work, we shouldnāt eat. If we donāt provide for our own weāre worse than an infidel. Those are strong words from a loving Father who desires His kids to experience the reward and growth of hard work. Diligence and workaholism are not the same.
š°š° Do everything unto Him. If we really did this would we be on social media fighting with strangers, staring at videos that donāt do a thing all day? Do your work like Gods lovingly watching and wanting to help. Rebuke laziness!
š°š° Run as if to win! Paul tells us that no one sets out in a race with no intention to win. But the average Christian nowadays is so entitled and passive theyāll give you 99 reasons for why they donāt have goals and commitment and make it sound like Gods fault. RESIST that! Give it your all and CONFRONT your own self, not your neighbor, when you know youāre not.
š°š° Donāt hang out with fools. We learn the ways of those we hang out with, and thereās no way to avoid that. If two walk together and donāt agree than someoneās being sifted. You can love people who you donāt agree with, and not be rude or hateful. But theyāre not your friends or influencers. Quit acting like a puppet and step up.
š°š° God gives provision and expects us to go after the resources He has provided. Meditate and study the parable of the talents. Be faithful. Grow your talents! Get a mentor! Stop eating out, eating crap, watching movies all day, not drinking water and not taking care of yourself. YOU ARE the light of the world and YOU ARE the temple of the Holy Spirit. Quit making excuses and go after the resources with diligence, commitment and patience.
š„š„š„
It dishonors my paying clients to give away what they pay for. It also dishonors me to give away what took me 27 years to learn. It dishonors the person asking because NOTHING of value comes easy, fast or free.
We give away hundreds of thousands of dollars of training for freeā¦ And the sad fact of the matter is very few people will even use it. Because people want handouts not a hand up in this gluttonous entitled society we live in. Be the unicorn. Do the work. God will meet you there!
Proverbs 12:11-
The one who works his land will have plenty of food, but whoever chases fantasies lacks judgment.
š„ā¤She Inspires Me Daily To Live My Best Life1ā¤š„
Iād I had listened to my friends, family and āthe expertsā I would have NEVER EVER done the following with my life and seen ridiculous results(in no specific order)-
1- Had two more beautiful sons after the doctors told me it was not āadvisableā due to declining health.
2- Started my own online business in the middle of a dot com bust in the 90ās and made a million dollars with no college degree or mentor
3- Fired many doctors who told me there was nothing more that they could do
4- Relocated 23 hours away to AZ just 2 months after starting remicade infusions and being told to have āthat talkā with my children if I donāt make it.
5-Created my own protocol to wean off all opiates and prednisone in just 6 mos with no side effects just 10 days after arriving in AZ.
6- Use the whole cannabis plan to help my body including THC.
7- Gone through multiple remedies to remove trauma from my body until one really made a huge difference.
8-Homeschooled all three of my sons K-12 WHILE building 15 companies AND fighting the battle for my health.
9-Filed for a divorce when I realized I didnāt have to suffer anymore.
10-Self published two books, do all the marketing on my own and make a $1 million doing so.
11- Spoke up about Jesus, human trafficking and the vile religious spirit that destroys so many lives ON my business platform.
12- Broke all the copywriters rules and created 8- figures.
13- Listened to God and not mentors who didnāt believe in Him.
14- Listened to God and not religious leaders who didnāt believe Him.
15- Fired staff members who stole from me even when everyone thought āheā was such a good guy
16- Given people a chance in my companies despite others thinking I shouldnāt
17- Leg pressing 550 lbs, benching 135, leg extensions at 190 even though everyone said to āgo easyā you have a disease youāre battling
18- Talked about whatever the heck I wanted to on my social media platforms.
So..... be brave! Be courageous! Be fierce! And obey GOD, not people. ā¤ļøšš¼š
