An incredible project from the Stockton visual arts and dance departments: Puppets!
Teams of students from our sculpture classes were tasked with creating articulated, larger than life sized puppets, that were then worn and performed in by the amazingly talented dancers from our dance program! This project truly hi-lights the unbelievably cool things that can be produced with imagination and collaboration, and were so inspiring to see moving around campus. Great work all involved!

Some photos from our most recent outing: a Faculty-Led Study Tour of Japan!
Students (and faculty) had some incredible opportunities to visit Japan, where they took part in: experiencing a traditional tea ceremony at a tea house cited as a Kyoto City historical landmark, tried kimono, visited working American artist Joel Stewart’s studio, explored museums featuring works ranging from ancient to modern, pop art, and generally had an enriching, adventurous time!
Interested in these kinds of artistic, curated, beautiful trips? Stay tuned as Stockton’s visual art faculty is hard at work lining up the next one now!
