National Prescription Take Back Day is Saturday, October 28th, 2017 from 10am to 2pm. We will stop accepting at 2pm and we do not take sharps or needles.

Looking for a place to stay cool during this heat wave? The following cooling centers have been opened: Parks & Recreation Office, 610 Chabolla Ave. Wednesday, June 21 from 1:00 - 10:00 pm; Chabolla Community Center, 600 Chabolla Ave., Thursday, June 22 and Friday, June 23 from 1:00 - 10:00 pm.

Saturday April 29, 2017, Prescription Take Back

The Drug Enforcement Administration along with national and community partners will be holding its 13th Annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Galt Police Department. This event aims to provide a safe, convenient, and ecologically responsible method of prescription drug disposal while also educating the public about the potential for abuse of medications.

13th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, April 29th from 10am to 2pm.
Bring in all unused or expired medications to be properly disposed of to the Galt Police Department. Simply drive up and a representative will collect the drop off, you don't even need to get out of your car.
It is important to properly dispose of medications, it protects the environment, and takes those medications out of the house so they cannot be misused.
