Offering this to the kids in our community. Everyone is welcome. We will have Equitable Advisors here to talk about your kids investing in their future.

How to save and how to invest their money. Even how they can buy their first property. Why credit is important. How their credit report affects their future. How to establish credit. How to start your own business.

The job fair will be outside in the parking lot. We have 20 business's that have committed to attending and setting up their booths so that they can meet with kids about the jobs they are offering.

Every Thursday, we have a featured speaker. As part of our group, you get to do a 20 minute or so presentation on what your services are and how we can send you referrals. Today we’re excited to have Buffy Holt of F N M Bank as our featured speaker. 

Buffy always brings the knowledge. Buffy also is community oriented and loves her community.  Buffy has a giving heart and will answer all of your questions. If your child is just learning how to bank on their own, she would love to answer their questions or teach them.  Or answer your questions on products that are available to them and you. 

Businesses, she also has everything you need as a bank to operate your business successfully.

Another atmospheric river storm system is forecast over the next 4-5 days, which is expected to bring up to 3” of rain to the greater Galt area. This system includes high wind forecasts over Friday and Saturday. Creeks and channels are expected to be running very high as the storms are expected to melt some of the snow at lower elevations in the mountains, causing more runoff.

Residents and businesses are reminded to take necessary precautions, and allow more time when traveling in inclement weather. City crews will be on standby to respond as needed.

The City has a sand bag station setup in front of the Public Works building at 495 Industrial Way for Galt residents only. The limit is 10 bags per household.

To report any significant street flooding, downed trees, or other storm related issues, please use the Galt Connect app or call the Public Works Department at (209) 366-7260 or the non-emergency line after hours at (209) 366-7000.

Our BAAT clinic is headed to Galt! Our next free dog clinic will take place on Sunday, March 26, from 10am-1pm at 📍Harvey Park.

The Shelter’s BAAT Veterinary Outreach Clinic for dogs of low-income and unsheltered dog owners in Sacramento County will provide basic health and wellness services including vaccinations, microchips, ID tags, collars, deworming, flea prevention, and treatment of some minor medical issues. All dogs must be on leash, in carriers, or carried.

This clinic will be held RAIN OR SHINE! 🌦️
