Please Prepare for updates throughout the rest of the week regarding this potential tropical storm! We will update any change to hours and or regarding closing! Thank you 🙏🏼❤️
NEW: The National Hurricane Center is now issuing forecasts for Potential Storm One, predicted to become Tropical Storm Alberto tomorrow. While the core of the storm is still expected to make landfall south of Texas, this is an unusually large tropical system that will have far-reaching impacts up and down the Texas coastline.
In fact, as best as we can tell, record high amounts of tropical moisture for the month of June will take their aim at the middle and upper Texas coastlines tomorrow night and Wednesday. This will lead to torrential downpours in Southeast Texas. It's impossible to tell exactly where the heavy rain bands will set up, but all indications are that it will occur somewhere between Houston and Matagorda Bay, where over a foot of rain will be possible starting tomorrow night. This will lead to significant street flooding, and it is advised that you do not park your vehicle on the street before you go to bed Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, dangerous surf conditions are expected all up and down the Texas coastline with 1-3 feet of storm surge, waves up to 15 feet, strong rip currents, and moderate coastal flooding with highs tides peaking at 4 to 5 feet on Wednesday morning. The strong easterly winds gusting over 40 mph will lead to tropical storm conditions even offshore from Galveston Island.
A Tropical Storm Watch starts at Port O'Connor along Matagorda Bay and goes all the way south of the border to Boca de Catan in Mexico.
ABC13 Weather Alert Days are in effect for Tuesday and Wednesday. More to come: abc13.com/forecast

Our Story
“Brite Beginnings Childcare Center is licensed by the state of Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and was established in 2014. We are a local family owned and operated daycare center and preschool. BBCC provides an atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth through child’s play and small group instruction. It is the philosophy of BBCC, that early childhood learning should be a time of fun, warmth, security, education, exploration and discovery. The curriculum includes dramatic play, creative art activities, music, science activities, block play, sensory experiences, daily outdoor activities, the celebration of birthdays, and holidays. Children will be exposed to shapes, colors, numbers, and letters through developmentally appropriate activities taught using small group instruction.”
