Galveston Art League
The Galveston Art League is an all volunteer run organization, and has been since its founding in 1914. We opened our first permanent location in 2008.
We welcome art lovers, shoppers, and artists to visit our gallery, join as a member, and support our artists. We have member shows monthly, and juried shows three times per year. Anyone can join and show their art. Membership starts at just $40 a year.

Sharon Pitman is the July Featured Artist at Galveston Art League
After a career that included teaching art and humanities from the middle school through the university level, Sharon Pittman is now a retired educator with a fulltime focus on her own art. She is the author of the book The Museum for the People, and a lifelong member of the selective Los Angeles Art Association. Having relocated to Texas, she is now active in the Galveston County art scene, producing paintings that reflect her interest in Western themes and the great outdoors.
Galveston Art League would like to join with other galleries and the Galveston art community in offering condolences to the family, friends and associates of Scott Edwards, whose sudden and untimely death has shocked us all. Scott was a man who got things done for art and artists. He was a friend, and will be missed.
Coming soon to the Galveston Art League Gallery!
Heads up! Hope to see you soon!
