Every year, the Galveston Academic Excellence Booster Club honors the Top 50 students and teachers from the island. We are proud to announce that Mrs. Margaret Mehringer and Jordan Romero were selected by the GAEBC and honored at the annual banquet held at UTMB for being chosen in this year's Top 50. Mrs. Mehringer is the Middle School Math and Spanish teacher, and Jordan is an 8th grader.
Congratulations ladies! Take a bow!

Friday was a special day indeed. May crowning procession was followed by Mass. During Mass, our newest first communicants were able to fully participate in the Mass for the first time with our school.

Our first and second graders are now published authors! They wrote a book called "Fables on the Island". They did a fantastic job. Thank you, Mrs. Couch and Sister Juliana, for making this project possible.
Several of our students participated in their first communion Sunday. This was a wonderful celebration of spiritual growth for these young people! We are so blessed to celebrate this special day with you.
