What does being a L'OREAL Professionnel Color Ambassador mean?

It means a more elevated experience for my guest at The Glamour Studio with exceptional results and better understanding in color theory. Being a colorist is not just about applying color to a client's hair. It's understanding pigments, proper formulation and technique, it's proper verbage in explaining performance for end goals and home care.

Not only is it important for us stylists to be well educated in color formulations, but it's our responsibility to be able to educate our guests in understanding pigments in their own hair to better understand the expectation of an appointment.

What do you do on hair that has been previously highlighted but with the wrong technique?

My guest wanted a higher contrast look with painted highlights but her previous salon instead gave her a very blended highlighted look with very minimal contrast and saturation in zone 1.

With the help of and I was able to give her a more blended look at the roots for an effortless grow out while brightening her mid lengths and ends, thanks to the bonder I was able to protect her hair from further damage.

By contouring the right areas to create a shadow, I was able to make some of her previous highlights appear lighter and make her balayage really pop. For her lowlights I used with 6 volume and Glossed her with and clear for a subtle diffused tone of ash. I finished her with the metal detox mask and for extra nourishment for her hair. And VOILA! GORGEOUS HAIR!
