As you may know we are quickly approaching the end of our lease at Pinky's Grilled Cheestro. What you may also know is that we signed a lease for the restaurant at the Flight Deck this past week. What you can't possibly know is the miracle that made this possible...

We searched. We looked at so many properties. Once again, we even started working with an architect on a brand new property. We considered renovating a relic of a restaurant from my past. We considered moving into the new brew hall. We considered everything and yet, as time grew shorter... my heart just wasn't settled.
So.
I prayed.
I started praying specifically. God.. You gotta do this. Make a way because I just don't see this happening. You gotta swing the door so wide open that we have no choice but to walk through it.
Bold prayers.
And.. I started seeing manna from heaven as I prayed. I knew that God was saying TRUST ME have I not provided all these years? You see, what you may not know is that we, as a business & as a family have STRUGGLED. We sometimes didn't have enough and yet we always made it. We always had enough for the homeless and the single mothers that God had sent us to serve. God provided in our darkest, scariest moments. No, it wasn't always what we wanted but we have always had enough.
So. I started praying prayers of gratitude knowing and understanding that we have come this far only by the grace & mercy of God.
That manna prayer was constant for 3 weeks then one day as I sat in front of the post office praying I saw a different vision. I saw milk & honey and heard God say.. now is the time for a land flowing with milk & honey.
You guys.
2 days after that vision as I sat in Pinky's contemplating what we were going to do (as I had done every day for months leading up to that day).. my phone started dinging. People, several in fact, were messaging me about the Flight Deck restaurant opening up.
Fast forward a month and we have signed a lease and the crazy part you guys?? It is costing us NOTHING to relocate. I truly feel like God said... how's free for clear?! Walk my child.. walk into the future I have planned for you, into a land flowing with Milk & Honey..
