Check out this rad F250 Tremor 6.7L Powerstroke pulling a .campers overland trailer. It came in with a coolant line drip which we fixed right up, and we’re planning an install of an Powerpole connection to charge the trailer from the truck.

Ending the week with the rear end of this custom campervan conversion done right here at .

This fully built ‘15 AWD Mercedes Sprinter began as a project to install some cabinets and progressed into a bare-wall full buildout. We swapped in Sprinter windows, the great insulating Sprinter subfloor from , flooring from our friends at , slat ceiling, upper cabinets, and bare galley, front trim, spare tire tank, bed platform, and set with electrical components and hydronic heater. In shop, we welded custom overland panoramic security camera mounts, a factory Sprinter-A/C compatible off-grid solar panel mounting bar, enclosures for the custom off-grid Victron camper van electrical system and fridge/freezer, and added a ton of custom interior cabinet features like four heavy-duty under bed storage drawers, flip-up bamboo desk, flip down outdoor kitchen table, hidden ottoman, and CNC-cut enclosure paneling.

Many of these features will have a place in the camper van build layouts we are designing for upcoming builds!

A simple upfit for simple livin’.

We outfitted Tony’s weekender Sprinter with a ceiling, wall panel kit, and a simple electrical setup to plug into a portable battery and shore power.

Here at we’re fans of modular components, solid mounted hardware, and forward-thinking easily accessible components. And natural wood.

The ceiling kit checks those boxes. A few simple tools and clear instructions and customizable cutouts makes install a smooth process. Just gotta have shoulder stamina and an rivet gun (or mongo hands.)

Playing around with ideas for getting the spare tire off the back. This is inspired by the infamous .

Keeping the front hitch available while maintaining front approach angle are holding me back. Hm 🧐

We’re using Anderson Powerpole and other specials connectors on this drop-in electrical box. The Sprinter’s circuits will have matching plugs for shore, solar, the , and all the other fun goodies!

Last week, .travels and their human entourage came to us with a few systems-related issues to fix on their shop-built van.

We worked with the builder to provide warranty work on the original plumbing issue and repair a damaged heater wire I found.

My background in construction, mechanics, electrical, and plumbing are major assets in our diagnostic and repair work.

Fixing used drains and working blind in tight quarters on the ground isn’t everyone’s idea of fun, but it sure beats hours in a dirty crawlspace or a hot attic next to mummified rats 💀
