When you are tempted to worry, worship instead 🙏🏽💕

Beloved, accept the invitation to rest in Jesus 💕💕

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? When it feels like the weight of the world is pushing you down? Most of us tend to pursue something that can give us comfort and renewal. But outside of Christ, this renewal will not last. Instead of momentary relief, Jesus offers us eternal rest. Jesus invites us to come to Him when we feel weak and weary and experience His lasting rest. This rest is primarily a spiritual reality. In Christ, our burdens are lifted. In Christ, our weariness is met with everlasting strength. In Christ, our fears and troubles are replaced with a peace that surpasses all understanding. But we must come to Christ in order to experience these blessings. If you find yourself weary and burdened today, go to Jesus. Give Him all that is weighing heavily on you. Sink deep into His loving embrace and rest.

Lord help me choose rest 🙏🏽💕

Sister, there is so much peace and refreshment to be found from intentionally slowing down. May you experience all of it and more as you choose to rest in the Lord.⁣⁣

It's difficult to be kind when you're burnout and stressed.

I'm realizing more and more that it's harder for me to display Christlike character and love to those who may be hard to love, when I'm stressed, overwhelmed, and tired 😩

My patience runs thin, I get irritated easily and frustrated with others.

My burnout impacts how I treat others.

Proper rest, spending quality time with the Lord, seeking Him first, praying throughout the day, and meditating on His Word helps me to be more loving towards others ❣️

So I can display the fruits of the Spirit.
(Galatians 5:22-23)

Another reason why sacred rest is a must!

Prayers don't have to be long.
Don't need a lot of words.
Do not require lots of time.

But praying should be consistent and perpetual.

Let's not let busyness keep us from praying!

Pray without ceasing ❣️
