Hi loves, I'm Dia Starr, Owner and Pastry Chef of DS Sweet Treat's and Catering. My journey started in High School where I took my first ever cooking classes. Of course growing up as a southern girl I could always cook. But it was in high school that I completely fell in love. Something about food inspired me to go in an entirely different direction. You see I was suppose to become a doctor(inserts smiling emoji), complete 360. Going into college was like going into an abyss not knowing what the future would hold and finally after the hot girl summer was over I settled into life as a Culinary Arts student at El Centro College in Dallas, Texas and my journey began.
Everything I create is truly from the heart and made with love. I work to provides a delightful bakery experience by inspiring a culture of pride and satisfaction in what I love to do. I strive to create top quality, imaginative and delicious baked treats, and make sure to respond positively to the needs of the community.
