Let's celebrate the achievements of Marvin Thomas, a Biscuit Maker at our Clemson Road location in Columbia, SC! Marvin recently graduated from a dual enrollment program for both Ridgeview High School and the University of South Carolina Sumter, all while working the early shift throughout the week. His dedication to his outcome is truly commendable.

Marvin received a full four-year scholarship to the University of South Carolina Columbia in the fall. He intends to work at Biscuitville while he completes an internship with the City of Columbia IT Department.

April is National Volunteer Month, and there is no better way to serve your community than by volunteering with your local fire department, NC Association of Fire Chiefs, and ensuring there is always someone to answer the call in your town. More than 80% of North Carolina’s firefighters are volunteers, but since 2020, North Carolina has seen a decrease of 4,963 volunteer firefighters. The need for volunteers of all skill levels and abilities is dire. As a way to help, consider encouraging members of your community to answer the call and be a hero for your hometown!
