Friday is here! Many of you will be heading out for the holiday weekend. If you are home like I am since I have to work Saturday then save the date and time for this event. See post picture below.

My good friends at Krafty's Burgers & Brews are hosting a fundraising event. Please come out on Sunday the 1st day of September from 3pm-6pm. Not only a fundraising event but a puppy adoption event. Blazin’ Trails Bottle Babies is a non profit. This organization is dedicated to the rescue and care of orphaned neonatal puppies.

Shana has rescued puppies and nursed them to healthy babies in search of their forever homes. She also works at Franklin County Animal Shelter and is helping finding homes for the shelter dogs as well. No shelter dogs will be present at this event. You can speak to her regarding animals she has at the shelter. The shelter is currently at or over capacity. Unfortunately it is a kill shelter like most shelters in NC. This is not something she wants to be doing. So let’s get her puppies adopted and let’s help clear her shelter.

I am the owner of 4 Paws K9 Training. We are co-hosting this event to help raise funds, awareness and hopefully get all the puppies adopted.

They like many other rescues are in need of fosters as well. Please if interested come out to the event and meet and talk with Shana. They are also in need of puppy food and p*e p*e pads. Donations are gladly accepted at this event.

Depending on weather I may have K9 Kimber. She loves to come to events and show off. I also currently am fostering Riley who is with another organization. He will not be with me as this event is strictly for Shana and her organization. We will be on the patio out back. Please come out and support this event and please support Krafty’s.

Look forward to seeing you all here. Krafty’s is owned by one of my favorite LI people Robert and my favorite person who runs this location for him is Christian. We have done many events over the years with them for the Never Forget 9-11 Foundation (unfortunately I closed this at the end of 2023). I am a dog foster parent and foster failure as well. This is why we currently have 11 dogs. 9 our ours. One foster left that is Riley a GSD Fox Hound mix. Then Milo the American Staffie who is here with us on vacation. Milo is just learning to be a dog while with us. He also is only being taught to sit, focus. Nothing more.

Can’t wait to see you all. All are welcome. Remember this is about puppies and dogs. We do our best to save them all. We can’t unless we can.
