Hey Y'all!

This week's summer camp theme is Time Travel.
Yesterday the campers got to experience a few cave dwelling activities; cave painting and stringing up "fish" over the "fire".
Today we visited the Middle Ages (450AD - 1500AD) and they were able to make pretend stained glass windows and Knight's gear (pool noodle swords and cardboard shields).
Tomorrow they will be spending the day in the colonial time period!

These are just the crafts we have done this week!!! Not to mention all the fun games we have played, random dance parties (one was even a glow stick dance party) and lots and lots of gymnastics fun!

Happy World Turtle Day! 🐢💚
A way to help turtles is to recycle your single use plastic!
We are accepting water/soda plastic bottles, and toilet and paper towel rolls to use for some of our Summer Camp crafts!!

Summer camps are quickly approaching and with that we need some help! We are looking for a few recycling items to be used in crafts. If you have a child who attends classes here we would love for you to bring a bag of two of the following to help out!
Empty and clean please.
Plastic drink bottles (water and soda)
Kleenex boxes
Plastic baby wipe containers
Toilet paper and paper towel tubes
Glass jars with lids (like old jelly jars)
Massive boxes!
Anything unique looking!!
We are also gathering old broken electronics to be used in our Space Wars week that can be taken apart and used to build droids with!
This helps us and also helps from letting more waste be put in the landfills!

Our Spring Class show for our Recreation classes is on Saturday June 11th at 10AM.
Let your child show off for your family!
Each participate receives a trophy and small goodie bag!
Rehearsal for the show will be held on the evening of Friday June 10th 5-7pm and is free with the $40 class show fee! Think of it as a fun parent's night out!

Looking for a fun place to drop off the kids while you get some work done or run errands?
Did you know starting the first week in June running through the end of August you can do that very thing!!!
Drop off any time 8-12 or 1-5 and they will do crafts, play games and have open AND structured gymnastics time!
Want them to enjoy a Ninja Go class? Drop off 1pm on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday and let them flip out with us all the way until 5pm and they will be able to enjoy an hour long Ninja Go class!
Only $30 for half day camp!
Sign up ahead of time to secure a spot, or contact us the day before to see if we have availability!

Look who we are working with for a fantastic Friday summer camp activity!!! We will have "mining" activities for select weeks of summer camp during our Friday morning camp hours! This will be available for ALL age level campers, including daily drop in campers!!! Must sign up ahead of time to be part of the activity so we have one reserved for you.
Weeks available:
Week 1 - beach combers bag! Shells, shark teeth and coral.
Week 2: dino fossil dig!
Week 6: gem mining!
Week 7: combination of gems and treasure
Week 8: shark teeth excavation!

I might even get my own personal bag for each week! How exciting!

We are looking for a few qualified people who would be interested in helping us grow and run the program during the daytime on a weekday! This would be a time that the gym would be quiet and allow for the class to be the only group there!
