Edgebrook Swim Club is a Community Pool that provides great FAMILY fun!!!! We offer early fun swimming times, private parties, Swim Team and Swim Lessons.

Please join us at Edgebrook Swim Club on Saturday, August 10th from 7 - 9pm for an adults only night at the pool. This is a fundraising event for our facility to help with upkeep of the pool and helping to pay for the new diving board we ordered and hope to receive soon!! This event will be $20 per adult which includes: swimming, co****le, and dinner from Fat Boyz BBQ (brisket, slaw, mac and cheese, soda), live music, a 50/50 raffle, BYOB (no glass, please ). Listed below is the tentative schedule for the week. Based on the weekly forecast, it sounds like we are in for several days in a row of storms and rain so do not be surprised if we have to close early some days but we all know weather changes constantly. If anything happens I will post on our page as well as send out emails to members.

This Saturday, our swim team is competing in the SMSL Championship in Smithfield. This will be our final week with practices 6-9pm. Also, because of this, there will not be any swim lessons Saturday because the instructors will be competing, coaching, or cheering on their swimmers. Also there will be no early lap swimming on Saturday and no water aerobics Saturday or Sunday this week.

Due to the current thunder/rain and forecast for storms basically the rest of the day, we have decided to close the pool for today. We will try to open at normal time tomorrow. Also, there will be no adult lap swim, water aerobics, or swim team morning practice tomorrow. Pool will tentatively open at 10:00am for members. We will keep an eye on the forecast for tomorrow and hope for better weather!

There are two changes to Friday's schedule. Instead of being open 10:00am-9:00pm, it will be open until 7pm. A pool party has been reserved so the pool will close at 7pm. Also, Community of Hope will NOT be coming on Friday so the pool will be daycare free on Friday. This should hopefully be the only change to the schedule for the week. There is swim practice tonight but it will not start until 6:30pm so the whole pool will be open until then. Thursday will be open all day for the 4th of July.

The good news: we finally got rain! The bad news: looks like it is going to storm for the remainder of the day so out of the abundance of caution, we are going to close the pool for the remainder of the day. Everyone stay safe and we will see you all tomorrow.

We are playing host to the Seahawks, a homeschool swim team, who has been displaced from the Triangle Aquatic Center for the next two weeks because that is where the olympians are training. We are trying to help provide them a place to practice and complete a swim meet so they will be practicing Monday night and hosting a swim meet on Tuesday. We will close on TUESDAY at 4:00pm to help them prepare for this event. We also are closing early on Wednesday at 5pm for the annual July 3rd Celebration at Lake Benson. If you are interested in joining early adult swim or water aerobics, the times are different this week due to no morning Eels swim practice and the pool party at 7pm on Sunday.

This week we will begin our normal operating hours. Reminder between the hours of 12:00-3:00 Monday-Friday, the pool will remain open but there will not be a lifeguard on the stand so we ask that you monitor your swimmers, similar to neighborhood pools that have no lifeguards). We will have board members and/or a manager present to oversee the pool. If attendance during these hours increases, we will staff lifeguards during that time.
We will regularly be opening early for adult lap swim from 7:00-8:00am on Mondays-Wednesdays once teacher workdays are finally over but until then we will have it on Saturday this week. Also, water aerobics will continue on Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings. If interested, it is $5.00 per person!
Sadly on Saturday, our diving board suffered a break and we need to replace it. Until we can get a new one installed, the deep end is open but with no diving board access so please do not touch or remove the chair we currently have on it.

Below is the schedule for this week. This is the last week of modified hours leading up to traditional school being out. We will start normal operating hours on Saturday!! Please remember to sign in with the lifeguard upon entering the facility. We will be closing an hour early on Friday for a private graduation pool party.

Also, there is a time change for anyone interested in water aerobics. Originally it was going to be Sundays 12:00-1:00 but it has been changed to Sunday night, 7:00-8:00pm. Also, it was supposed to start tomorrow, June 2nd but due to a bad case of strep throat I have to push it to start Saturday, June 8th so no aerobics class tomorrow.

Hey Edgebrook Families!!
We will be on a modified schedule this week but with a few changes since our last email. Thanks to two of my older guards, we will be able to open earlier than originally planned, from 12:00-7:00 Tuesday-Friday this week. If you are not on a traditional school schedule we will be open earlier if you choose to come. Swim team is starting this week as well. Usually practice is Monday-Thursdays (meets on Thursdays starting June 13th) from 6:00-9:00pm. This week there will only be practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Saturday we will be open 10:00am-4:00pm. We are closing at 4pm due to the annual fundraiser party to raise money for brain cancer research. Sunday will be normal 1:00-7:00pm hours. Starting Sunday, June 2nd, we will be offering water aerobics on Sundays from 12:00-1:00pm and Saturdays 10:00-11:00am. If you are interested in participating, it will be $5 to join!! Also, starting Saturday, June 8th we will be opening to early morning lap swimming from 7:00-8:00am before we have morning practice Mondays-Wednesdays and Saturdays 8:00-9:00am. This is not free swimming only for adults who want to do continuous laps for a great workout!
Last thing: Several families came to the pool this weekend who did not register their membership. Please make sure you have filled out the registration so you are kept up-to-date on everything going on!!
