Tonight, on ACC network Channel 388, Mt Olive Pickles will premiere their new ACC basketball commercial. It’s a 30 second spot featuring UNC guard RJ Davis, and NCSU post player DJ Burns. Thanks to Mt Olive for their confidence in the Sumner Group…a great job by our creative team and NowSay Productions. The spot will be featured throughout the ACC season. Raise four fingers in the air. 2024 will be a celebration of the most beloved basketball player in the history of the UNC program. The Rocky Mount native changed the game and gave his heart to the Tar Heel program, like none other. It has been 50 years since Phillip J. Ford took the floor at Carmichael Auditorium and won the hearts of Tar Heel fans everywhere. More details are coming soon about the celebration of # 12 and his legacy.

We are excited to partner with Porch and Heels4Life to bring this event to the Queen City! The money from this event is helping out Porch. SO..let me explain to you what they are about!

PORCH is a grassroots group of 1500+ volunteers, across 10 states and 30 Chapters, fighting hunger and food insecurity through neighbors helping neighbors. Since its inception in 2010, PORCH has delivered more than $10 million in hunger relief to neighbors in need.

Our model is simple. Each month neighbors leave a bag of non-perishables on their porch, volunteers collect those bags, and deliver them directly to local pantries, schools, or community centers. Additionally we have the PORCH Fresh and PORCH for Schools programs to support fresh fruits and vegetables for local families, and healthy snacks for area school children.

Football season is upon us, and now's your chance to meet your favorite Tar Heel players. You'll have the opportunity for photographs and autographs with the athletes, as well as food and a raffle. The location for Heels Huddle & Handshakes has been changed, and will now be held at Tremont Local Drinkery & Eatery at 2000 South Blvd. in Charlotte from 5-7pm. The athletes present are as follows:

What's up Barnstorming fans?! Thank you for your loyalty to this great tradition. We have just learned we need to reschedule our Carolina experience event scheduled for this Friday. Of course, you will receive a full refund and be the first to be notified as soon as we have a new date. We are disappointed too and are working hard to bring this year’s Barnstorming back to the fans!

Update for everyone...we are working on bringing Barnstorming back..but with the extra covid year and NIL deals and such...things are a little different! But...

as you know last year we did the "iron 5 tour". It was super effective, fun... and the fans loved it. I know some fans have been asking why we have scheduled UNC events...but please understand it's our intention to get back to our original format with all of the schools. Hope everyone is well and having a great 2023.

This limited edition Oakley shirt will be available next basketball season to celebrate 50 years since Phil Ford's first walked on the court at Carmichael Auditorium to lead the Tar Heels for 4 years. He wore number 12 on his chest but he is number 1 in Tar Heel hearts. Thank you Phil for being such a good friend. All money raised will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House in honor of PJF.
