HOW YOU CAN HELP - HELP US FEED THE CHILDREN! No amount is too little or too large as we try to meet the needs of this growing problem.
We are asking you to become a ministry partner with Gastonia Street Ministry by making a monthly contribution of food, money and people to help us provide for the homeless and those without food in our County. We are reminded when Jesus fed the multitude he didn't go to the Government but commanded the Church to Feed the Hungry. Please help us feed the children. We are in desperate need of nonperi

By stepping out of our comfort zones to help those in need, we fulfill our moral duty and invite blessings into our lives. When trouble comes, let praises go up and blessings come down!

WHAT A JOY TO SERVE OTHERS !
It's important to consider those in need. We may not know the circumstances that led to someone's homelessness, but it is our moral and godly obligation to take care of others.

Serving the Homeless with Compassion
As servants of God we work together to bring hope and relief to lives devastated by poverty. We often serve souls broken by addiction, unable to help themselves. We also serve single parents, the mentally ill, the very young, immigrants, refugees...all struggling to survive.
We offer comfort to the suffering through prayer, food, clothing, conversation, and gentle human contact of a hand or a hug. We have a coalition of church partners who offer Christian worship service bringing hope in Christ. We joyfully serve anyone in need regardless of religion, race, sexual orientation, or age. We strive to meet the basic human needs of our neighbors whom are in the greatest need with as much compassion as possible.
Our Mission
We were established February 23, 1999 as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit org in response to the growing homeless population in Gaston County. The general purpose was to collect, distribute, and prepare food for the homeless and hungry people that came to our doors.
The focus soon included temporary shelter and clothing for those in need. Since the start of this project, we have provided thousands of meals to 150 - 200 people per week, provided groceries, and assisted countless persons with temporary living. Eventually, we hope to move into a larger building so we can provide longer term housing to help those who want to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.
