Big Step for family and Kady.

The next renovation project is finishing the attic so that Kady can have her own space in the new house.

Many of you may know that she has shared her room many years with her siblings. In the Carolina house when she came of age, we transitioned to having her own room. She loved it. With making the big move to Virginia she and her younger sister have been sharing a room. This has all been fine and planned out. It was all to be temperoray.

Due to unforseen/ neccesssary renovations it was pushed off. Now is the time. Eddie and I are are big on DIY however, with this scale of a project we have decided to turn it over to a professional.

Here is the BEST part. Once he starts the project, it is due to be complete in one week!!!! Lets be clear; Eddie working full time, I am homeschooling the kiddos and running my own business the idea that this could be done in a week, is just AMAZING!

Kady is our first and is esceptionally special to her family. She her self has sacraficed space and energy over the years. She has stepped up in so many ways in helping around the house to helping her siblings. This space will be well deserved. She has even helped with already cleaning out the attic to prepare. There was multi generation items to sort, purge and clean. Going up and down two flights of stairs and sometimes three flights to put items in the basement.

We are NOT asking for handouts. We are already half way there! I will be going on a LULA tour to earn the rest of the money for this project. Making it my own challange.

The goal is to have this completed by the begining of summer so she can enjoy her friends coming from out of town.
