Our littles all LOVED this week’s fine motor, math, art, and movement activities! It’s not too late to grab a free copy for yourself and try some of them with your older toddler or preschooler!

Here to encourage you to 💕LET THEM MAKE THE MESS💕 every once in a while!

Had I not allowed for this hand and heart stamp art to be open-ended and messy, I would have missed out on the opportunity to capture this priceless childhood moment. I know it was special and memorable for the girls, and having this picture is equally as special to me.

And guess what? It took me less than 5 minutes to clean up!

✨TIPS FOR SMOOTHLY MANEUVERING A MESSY ACTIVITY✨

👉🏻 Have cheap shower curtain liners (from the Dollar Tree!) on hand to cover the floor, or take things outside.

👉🏻 Have all of the materials prepped before presenting them to your kiddos - this way little hands aren’t tempted to dive in before everything is ready.

👉🏻 Smocks are great, but for the least amount of stress, undress your little ones down to their underwear/diaper, and plan for a fun midday bath afterward.

👉🏻 Grab an easel paper roll from Amazon, and secure a large sheet to the ground with painters tape. A larger canvas means less messes in other places 😊

💓 Mentally prepare yourself for messes to happen, and allow yourself to be present with your little one as they engage in a sensory-satisfying experience while finding joy in exploring art materials and techniques!
