We had an amazing day at the Community Foundation Run this past Saturday. We are proud of Maggie LeGrand for running for Junior League of Gaston County! It was a great day for participating non-profits. There is still time to support Junior League of Gaston County with a donation. Visit cfgaston.org to make a donation and designate your gift to the Junior League of Gaston County. The Community Foundation will provide a partial match on your gift. You have till 5pm on Monday April 22nd to give!

We are several days away from Community Foundation Run this Saturday April 13th. If you would like to donate on behalf of Junior League of Gaston County donations will be accepted till Monday April 22nd. If you would like to walk or run on the behalf of Junior League of Gaston County, there is still time to sign up. If you signed up already packets can be picked up from Tuesday April 9th-Friday April 12th from 9:30 am to 4 pm at Gaston Community Foundation building on New Hope Road.

Community Foundation Run - CF Gaston The Community Foundation Run is an annual fundraising event for local nonprofits facilitated by the Foundation. On the day of the Run, thousands of people come together for one of the biggest celebrations of community spirit and support in Gaston County.

On Tuesday active members and provisionals dropped off Spring Break bags for 95 kindergarteners at Gardner Park Elementary! Spring Break bags were filled with snacks, books and toys to keep kindergarteners entertained during their break. Thank you to our provisionals , actives and sustainers for helping us plan the Provisional Project.Thank you to our members Crystal Armstrong, Tammara Summey and provisional member Triva Sanders for dropping off the bags!

We are so excited to be hosting a table at Purse Power! All proceeds will go to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Thank you to the United Way of Gaston County for all you do for our community. Thank you to our incredible Sustainers for sponsoring tables. We can't wait to be there on April 11th.

Last night our Provisionals met up to pack Spring Break for the 95 kindergartners at Gardner Park Elementary! Bags were filled with books, hygenie products, snacks, water and toys! We are proud of our Provisional class and their hard work this year! Special thank you to President- Elect Tammara Summey and Sustainer Sonya Allen for their donations.
