Today we remember and thank all past and present servicemen and servicewomen for their service that provides us with the freedoms we are so very thankful for.

Gaston Hospice & Palliative Care hosted a Service of Remembrance & Butterfly Release on Thursday, May 11th at the Robin Johnson House. This event was for families and friends of those who have lost loved ones over the past year. Everyone was invited to release a butterfly and also paint a memorial stone in honor of their loved ones.

Volunteers needed!! We are looking for volunteers who have excellent people skills, are compassionate & caring, and are flexible with their schedules. We need volunteers who are able to sit and visit with patients in their homes and area facilities when needed. Gaston Hospice needs caring, compassionate people to sit with patients, provide companionship. We also need administrative volunteers, to perform basic office tasks such as addressing envelopes, filing, making phone calls. If you have some time to share, we would love to hear from you! Welcome to the newest member of our Gaston Hospice family, Jasper McPeters! Jasper is in training to become a certified Pet Therapy volunteer for us!

We will have him visiting staff and patients at or Water Tower and Robin Johnson House locations soon!
