In our last home we used olive branch wallpaper in our open stairway. In our new home, we decided to make a banquette and the area just needed a little kick. I found this palm paper and I cant wait to show you all the finished product. We also took our 8ft farmhouse table and cut it down to fit this space. Stay tuned for the finished reveal

Happy Friday!! I bought this coffee table months ago and when I saw the driftwood mirror and bowl I knew I had to have it. Finally I am able to use all my goodies from a favorite store of mine in our new home. Thank you .

I found this plant hanger at a nearby nursery for $30 and I couldn't love it more!! Love keeping it simple and adding plants..lets hope i can keep it alive 🤪

Love how the sun is shining in on my mantle right now!! This pic is definitely not gram worthy. I Just started decorating and I think I am going to go with the woodsy cozy look. Looking to keep things nuetural and bring in a lot of texture this season. And..we might have our tree up already😜 no judgement please. I just love how the twinkling lights bring that cozy vibe into our home. I would like a big Christmas sign to replace the one up there for the holidays. I will share a final pic when I'm finished..I'm doing it gradually. Remember even if you are looking for a different vibe you dont have to buy all new. Mix in the old with a few new items for a whole new look.

Around the House Wednesday. I'm trying something new. I dont have a green thumb at all but I have been purchasing some real less maintenance plants and mixing them in with my faux. I just bought this little fiddle fig from and so far so good😜 what are your go to plants for decorating ???

For years, I would look at this stairway wall and think..what can we do with it?!? It was full of tiny dirty handprints (because why would they use the handrail when they could just wipe the wall on the way up😜) I follow Holly over at and we have such similar style. I saw her use this wallpaper and I knew immediately where I could use it in my home. Now 2 days later of what I told my husband was so easy to install its done!!! Started a little Fall decorating...just a small amount. I do feel like summer is over when the kids go back to school. Do any of you feel that way?? And with the cooler temps it sure makes me feel like Fall is coming. As much as I love wearing a chunky sweater with jeans and booties..I'm a summer girl!! The weekend is almost here so hang on tight because tomorrow is FRIDAY!!

Mudroom Makeover Complete😍 Just waiting on my new rug to arrive and we will be all ready for the new school year!! We had a divided out cubby system and wanted more room. We added the shiplap vertically on the walls and then made the coat hook organizer horizontally to add different texture. I couldn't find the right size baskets so we made the crates out of 3.5in strips and spray painted them black. I hope everyone's kiddos/grandkids have a great 2019-2020 school year😁

I cant wait to hang it up. Not sure if I'm going to clip it up or find a vintage frame but I absolutely love it and hope my kids always remember this❤

Melody and I just stopped at a plant nursery down here in Sarasota and we found THE succulent!!! The superstar that was in the wheelbarrow at the shop in Geneva😊 The one you would all take pictures of and want a clipping of...well..its called BABY SUN ROSE. I bought mine at L&M Greenhouse in St Charles. I never knew the name of it, I just loved it when I saw it. I told you all I would find you the name..just took me a year😜 Have a Terrific Thursday. So glad you all finally have some summer weather!!

24 years ago I met my best friend. Who would have known at 15 he would be my forever soulmate❤ Today we celebrate 14 years of marriage and 3 beautiful kiddos. I love this guy more and more each year that passes. Cheers to all of you who are married to your bestfriend. Have a wonderful day!!! 🥂🍹
