More than 60,000 surgeons around the world have completed more than 10 million procedures using da Vinci systems. And now, thanks to a generous donation from Richard S. Morrison, this technology is available in Ashtabula County.

Our new 115,000-square-foot building is the largest construction project in the hospital’s 120-year history. It houses 55 private patient rooms, 24 emergency department rooms, five operating rooms; and more.

On Tuesday, April 23, Premiere Fitness' noon Lunch 'n' Learn will spotlight Alcohol Awareness Month. To raise awareness and understanding about misuse of alcohol, Glenbeigh Inpatient Counselor Dalton Witt will discuss alcohol addiction, treatment options, recovery support services and more. ACMC welcomes General Surgeon Gordon Bodzin, MD, who has more than 25 years’ experience, specializing in open, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Americas Hernia Society.

ACMC welcomes General Surgeon Gordon Bodzin, MD. He has more than 25 years’ experience, specializing in open, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted surgery. Dr. Bodzin earned his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed his residency at Rush/Cook County Combined program and the University of Illinois at Chicago. He previously worked as a surgeon in Willoughby where he served on the hospital’s robotic steering committee. Prior to moving to Ohio in 2014, Dr. Bodzin served as surgical department chief at two hospitals in Arizona. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Americas Hernia Society. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Ohio University Heritage College of Medicine and published author in several clinical journals.
