Delayed but not denied
Story Time: Typically we post our accolades our success in the real estate industry ( I’m guilty of only posting my closings) however, I wanted to be transparent about the side we don’t usually show! The hard work, the countless hours resolving all the hiccups that occurs during a transaction. The communication with the appraiser, the co-op agent, title, seller etc. I have a listing that was suppose to close on Nov 3rd, well here we are on November 20th and this home may not be sold until early December. Why you might ask? During the inspection period the buyer discovered a foundation deviation and a plumbing issue ( which is normal with a foundation deviation). After completing foundation repairs and plumbing repairs the home failed hydrostatic testing ( indicating there is still a leak) therefore we are on amendment number 5 as we resolve the plumbing issue so the foundation company can issue a warranty and the home can pass city inspection.
