With so many rules coming out each month for how to cleanse your face correctly, one that I always stand by and has really helped me is washing my face with lukewarm water. Washing your face (and body) with really hot water, although it feels great especially in the winter months, is 👏🏼not👏🏼good👏🏼for👏🏼your👏🏼skin

If you feel like your acne is worsening, your skin is more inflamed and red after the shower/washing your face, your skin stings when applying moisturizer, you have dry patches, or just a general feeling of dryness.. you are most likely using hot water and stripping your skin of its very necessary natural oils. Try lowering the temperature of your water, and maybe even finish off your cleansing with ice cold water (if you’re crazy like me). This will help alleviate redness, puffiness and irritation 👑

So much truth to this, and I love it 🥰 my clients are so special to me and I love that part of my job is being a supportive listener and friend

SO PROUD of this gorgeous girl. She drank her water, she moved her body, and she did her best to pump delicious, nutritious food into her. Of course you have bad days/weekends, but she got right back to it. Body contouring is NOT a weight loss program, it does exactly what it says in the name, it helps to contour the shape of your body and makes the release of toxins A LOT easier when done in combination with eating healthy, moving your body and drinking ALL the water. This change happened with 6 treatments. As always, trust the process ✨

Trust the process ✨ first photo and last photo are 2 months apart. This is what an acne therapy facial can do when you commit to a treatment every 2-3 weeks, and start a home care regimen. Acne unfortunately is not something that can completely be vanished, BUT with the correct treatments and home-care, we can absolutely control it and make that skin glow. We’re still very much working on his skin, but I just needed to share this beautiful souls progress. How handsome is he in both the before and after photos!

Many of my clients ask about what to do for their dry, chapped lips.. my answer: exfoliate!
I’ve been doing this about once a week since I can remember, and it has never failed me ✨
Using a soft, dry toothbrush exfoliate in circular motions. Always remember to keep your pressure nice and gentle. Exfoliating your lips will aide in removing any dead skin buildup and allow for your chapstick/balm to better pe*****te the skin and work it’s magic!

Another option- mix a little coconut oil and brown sugar to make your own homemade lip exfoliant. Use the same circular motions with gentle pressure, and follow up with a thick hydrating lip balm
Now you’re ready to show off those baby smooth lips to everyone 👄

Side tip- this is my favorite trick to do before applying a matte lipstick 💄
