I miss Haute Mama. We didn't close by choice, we were forced out of business, given ten days to move, and now the restaurant next door has more space.
I am heartbroken. I should be working at my front counter today, the counter my husband built in our back yard. I would be enjoying the sound of the rain, decorating for fall, and waiting for Erin to come in from school. I loved my store and all my customers and I am crushed that the business I built for 21 years is just... gone.
