Whether you are visiting Gettysburg or live here full time, you MUST check out the Beyond the Battle Museum of the Adams County Historical Society.

Taking you from the earliest inhabitants--the dinosaurs--through the present day, the exhibits are amazing. The Caught in the Crossfire exhibit gives visitors a realistic and frightening idea of what the civilians lived through during the Battle of Gettysburg.

And while you're there, stop at their food stand and pick up a cookie from the Gettysburg Cookie Company! We will restock with fresh cookies every weekend!
