Southern PA Clay is all set to begin classes this week and next! There are still seats in our Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday classes! In addition to our regular Wheel Throwing and Hand Building classes, we have an "Appendages" class that is all about Spouts Handles, Lids, K***s, and Lugs on the schedule, and a "Surface Decoration" class that is all about decorating ceramics coming soon to the schedule! 1 YEAR !!!

Today marks one year since Southern Pennsylvania Clay opened its doors! We have been so privileged during this time to get to know so many people in this community! We started teaching classes last May and have taught 297 classes to date. We have a small little community of makers and artists that regularly come to the shop. Members. Students. Conversations. Memories.

We are eternally grateful for the opportunity to work with everyone. Here is to many more years together. We are more motivated than ever to finish our primary studio location so we can continue to grow!

Southern Pennsylvania Clay is coming up on our 1 Year Anniversary! During this time, we have loved connecting with our community! We primarily focus on teaching, and since it is a one person operation, the days available to produce work are long gone! Here are a few class demonstrations from these last 12 months. Peace!

S**C has definitely been thinking about children's classes the last week! With all the changes in the air right now here, we are more excited than ever to teach your kiddos!!! We have individual classes scattered throughout all of May, June, July, and August, with several "Mini Camps" as well! Mini Camps are 3-day-in-a-row classes that land on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday all throughout the summer! Check em out below!

Kelsey and I have a new member in our family. Thanks to Kelsey's unbelievably hard work and courage, we have received the ultimate gift. This is Clara, and she is breathtaking. I love you, Kelsey, and I love what you have created for us. This was simply love at first sight. ❤️

Southern PA Clay has posted its classes for May, June, July, and August! We are trying out a few new things this summer such as mini camps for children, and we brought back our month long classes for preteens and teens! We look forward to seeing you in the studio! Check out our classes here:

Our July/August classes have just about wrapped up! In our 7th and final class, we glaze everything we made throughout the 7 weeks! Here, we have Mike, Lexi, Sharon, Beth, and Aimee glazing their wonderful work! Thank you for a wonderful class! See you in September and November!

Southern PA Clay teaches its 100th class tonight! Since opening on May 1, 2023, you have all made it possible for us to close in on our 100th class. We thank you so very much!

Here at S**C, we are teaching our 7-Week, 'Introduction to the Pottery Wheel' Class on 3 different days of the week! Learn the fundamentals of clay, wheel throwing, cylinder/cup making, bowl making, trimming pots, handles, and glaze decoration! All glaze and clay included in the class and, of course you keep everything you make!
