A repeat client had me over to their home in Canterwood, Gig Harbor to make some paella for their family and friends. They had wanted to have a Festival of San Fermin type party. The Festival of San Fermin occurs in July in Pomplona, Spain and is well known for its Running Of The Bulls. Well, today there were no bulls but lots of fellowship, laughter, good cheer and, of course, Paella! I did two paellas for them. One Mixto with Chorizo sausage, chicken and large wild prawns and the other all seafood with Calamari, Manila Clams, Lobster Tail and large wild Prawns. Recently catered a backyard wedding in beautiful Bainbridge Island. This was a group of 60 people and I made two paellas for them. One Valencian style with wild prawns, chorizo sausage and chicken and another vegan paella with yams, carrots, green beans, Peas, red pepper, Cannelini beans, homemade vegetable broth and of course flavored with wonderful Spanish saffron and smoked Spanish paprika. Dave's Paella Party Catering served a wonderful backyard wedding reception in Tacoma near UPS. What a delightful evening it was. This iscthe second time I've served these hosts. I catered their daughters graduation party last year. We serve parties of 20 - 100 in the greater Puget Sound and peninsula areas.

Hey Gig Harbor! Your Gig Harbor Little League 12 & under Majors Baseball team is playing in the District 2 tournament starting Saturday, June 29 in Port Hadlock at East Jefferson Little League Fields. Wish us luck and come out to Port Hadlock to cheer us on if you can! It's always a fun time. Game time Saturday is 1pm versus Bainbridge Island and we will play again on Sunday at either 1pm or 3:30pm. Hope to see you. Go Harbor!

A very nice countryside Paella Party in Enumclaw Saturday night. The occasion was a 3 year wedding anniversary. This beautiful couple had a wedding celebration planned for 2020 that was sidelined until this year. Amazing families with terrific friends. It was so fun and beautiful! Two Paellas, one a traditional Valencian with wild jumbo prawns. Chorizo and chicken and the other a vegan Paella featuring yam, carrot, green bean, cannellini bean, sweet peas and artichoke hearts.
