The 2022 conforming loan limits were just released today. This is higher than the estimated $625,000 that many experts were expecting.
This can potentially save you a lot of money out of pocket when purchasing a home in this price range. Let's take a $700,000 purchase price as an example. In 2021 with a max loan limit of $548,250 you would have needed to cover the difference of $151,750! With the new limit of $647,200 you only need to cover the difference of $52,800.
That's $98,950 less cash up front in just this one example! π€―
The best part is, there is no need to wait until 2022! We have investors accepting the new loan limits today!
