🚨May is National Water Safety Awareness Month and we are here to discuss the severity of childhood drownings nationwide, and even more so here in Arizona.🚨 We lose the lives of 3 kids every day in the US to drowning. This is a very scary reality, especially knowing that children in Arizona drown at a rate of 2X the national average. ⚠️ Together we can change these statistics! There has never been a better time to start taking to your children about water safety! As a start, we encourage you to follow these 5 tips and share this post with friends and families! 1. Make sure all children flotation devices say “US Coastguard Approved” 2. Dress your children in bright color swimwear. 3. Enroll your children in high-quality, year-round swim lessons to decrease their risk of drowning by up to 88%! 4. Designate a water guardian 5. Have multiple barriers between your children and bodies of water during non-swimming times

We’re proud to partner with @Poolwerx to promote April Pools Day and Learn2Swim Month. The rate of childhood drowning in AZ is unfortunately twice the national average. It is a scary reality, but fortunately swim lessons on decrease that risk by up to 88%.
