If you wonder why we don't let customers in our bay, it's not because of insurance. It's because I say some STUFF when I screw up, and sometimes even on Mary's birthday!
All three of my cars today, were from repeat customers or referrals (and I had two others that rescheduled that are also repeat/reschedules).
My family and I cannot thank you enough for your continued support. There are so many options and you keep choosing us.
I am committed to researching to find the best products for YOUR dollar, to not rush installs (I'm not trying to do any turbo-speed work), and give you my best work I can do at a reasonable price that works for all of us!
Thank you for always choosing us! I have a surprise for you this November that I've been working on for quite sometime and I'm convinced it's going to be the best tint promotion of all time!
Both of these cars received a tint makeover.
The film removed from the front doors is arguably the most commonly installed film in the Phoenix Valley, CS (color stable) from a 4 letter brand. It's performance is just not adequate for our climate, with infrared rejection numbers around 10% vs the 90's (a typical multilayer nano-ceramic)
Getting your car to the style/shade you want and protecting you from heat is less expensive than you think with us!
Can we also talk about the absolute glow up the Chevy has in 2024!? These cars were pretty bland until then... And of course that ST Explorer has always been cool!
HUGE PROMOTION!
TODAY ONLY, CALL AND SCHEDULE YOUR CAR TO GET TINTED AND I WILL GIVE YOU A cheese at absolutely no cost.
Eyyy my spelling errors on my business page are just so you know Ai isn't writing for me; I promise... They're on purpose... K bye have a good time!

Let's talk records...
Who will end up with more!?
White sox loses? (Currently 108)
Phoenix days in a row over 100 degrees (currently 100 consecutive days)
I often get asked "how dark of tint would you choose?" and my answer is always "whatever darkness I'd want."
Everyone is different and these 3 vehicles couldn't be a better representation of that.
The went with the legal shade on the front sides and rear sides as well, whereas most customers opt for something darker in the back.
The opted for a darker percentage on the front windows and a virtually clear on the front windshield
The went with a medium shade on all sides and back.
All 3, vehicles opted for from .windowfilms for our best possible heat rejection, made right here in America!
Total solar energy or "TSER" is the closest to real world rating we have to represent heat rejection. It factors in every part of the sun's energy from IR -> UV and accounts for "reradiation" and other negative factors. So while some companies advertise "99% heat rejection".... Ask them how that's possible... If they give you some word soup, they're just lying.
MaxIR has an industry leading 72% TSER and 96% infrared energy rejection, while both numbers are relevant to your comfort, the important one is we can block up to 72% of total solar energy, or heat... And that's downright nuts.
Imagine your HVAC in your car working 1/4 as hard as it used to... YOU cool off faster. YOUR car stays cooler longer. YOUR car's AC last longer, and if you're driving an EV, you especially can experience longer range!
or this absolutely nasty looking first gen ???

Hey! Thanks Kyle for trusting me with your work trucks!
MaxIR has a unique combination of industry leading heat rejection, durability and optical clarity!
MaxIR has up to 72% TSER, total solar energy rating is the truest to real world rating of actual heat rejection, which also accounts for reradiation. It achieves this particularly high rating with a stellar 96% infrared energy rejection rating (a huge contributor to total heat) and it blocks 99% UV.
Reasonable prices, precision installation, quick turn around and simple scheduling just message us here to get the ball rolling in your next tint job!
My wife almost tossed out 9, NINE, half used candles because they are at the end of their life I guess? And it's not fresh linen season anymore... It's apple crisp dewy morning season she said....
Well guess what. It's about to be "White Barn Sweet Orange Agave" season at Gilbert Tint Works because money doesn't grow on trees in this family. Prayers I don't burn the place down accidentally but I hope our guests enjoy the new scents!
I had the luxury of tinting this this weekend.
It's always a nice surprise when a car that looks like it will have a trunk actually has a hatch. I can get on board with this trend.
Finished all my cars just in time for this storm to roll in and stir up some serious dust!
Ok.... I've seen some things in my customers cars before, but this is a first. It made me laugh. Don't be offended plz. Or do. Idk.
It's the for me I think.... But I really like the too AND the facelift isn't half bad either!
Regardless of which one is your flavor, today was a good day
Signs at ASU Prep just the other day. A little heat + a little wind and this sign just decided it had enough for today.
Picture, compliments of my wife when she was picking up these keeds.
Remote starts are a 365 solution in Arizona.
The HOT days are here, and in the winter months the mornings are surprisingly brisk; and let's face it, once you are acclimated in AZ... 36 degree mornings are miserable.
No matter what the temperature is outside, precondition your cars cabin with a remote start.
Being based out of Alaska, doing remote starts as long as I have, I bet I have installed more than anyone in the country, and certainly more than anyone in Arizona.
I'm better at taking pictures of the cars I complete when it's not triple digits outside.
By the time I'm done with them the last thing I wanna do is stand outside in the sun and take pictures right now! But here are a few from this week I snapped!
I am using as good of a film as I can buy. .windowfilms manufacturers their product, start to finish, in North Carolina. They are one of the few manufacturers that make their own film and even fewer who make it here in America! They publish honest specs, they aren't misleading, they employ good people right here in OUR community too.
Below is a link to introduce you to the brand, some familiar faces to me; and to explain some reasons in depth of why I choose their product!

I am so grateful for Layne and all of our fleet partners.
With so many options, what advantage can I offer a fleet customer like these good people?
Unlike large shops, you'll get my direct cell phone and access to me whenever. 5am, text me "can you squeeze one in today" and chances are you'll get an immediate "leave it with me and I'll make it happen." No more phone calls and prompts to "press 2 to talk to sales, press 3 to just wait on hold because you like our hold music"
Unlike other one or two man shows, I am up early, I'm here hours before I open, I do what I say I will do, I communicate rigorously, I provide consistent results, automated invoicing/emailed/itemized receipts for easy company reimbursement thanks to our partnership with
It's that easy.
Thank you for the continued support East Valley!
The most important review, my wife... with DR15 added to her sunroof.
If your tint shop is recommending ceramic films for sunroofs, it's because they heard the word ceramic and they just press the "sell" button. They don't understand the science of film, the best solutions are metalized/dual reflective films for sunroofs.
The science of tint is much more complicated when glass is dyed, laminated, annealed, tempered, low-e, has ceramic properties already ECT.
When I consider a new solution and consider the theory, I test the result every time.
I have the tools, meters and history to help you understand, come by any time and let's meter some care windows together
We have been packed with repeats and referrals, and this Highlander happens to be one of them; I am so thankful for each and every one of them.
There are a lot of good window tinters in our area but I think something that sets me apart is consistency not just in work, but in timelines, professionalism, and respect.
If you send me a friend as a referral, I promise to you, you won't regret it; I will treat them the same way I would expect to be treated.
There is nothing worse than referring a friend or family member to a business and them coming back to you and telling you how awful the experience they had was.
Thank you, for trusting me with your friends and family.
Oh yeah, this Highlander got 5% CX from MaxPro Window Films. You'll be hard pressed to find a Carbon film that performs like this, it's an incredible value and well built.
Here is a first.... Somebody let their kids run so wild in their car that I scrubbed the back passenger side window repeatedly and still had chocolate debris on the glass. Who let's their kids run wild like this!?
It's me... It's my car.
DR15 on the sunroof for absolute best protection and then MaxIR nano-ceramic from .windowfilms on the sides and back!
I will forever try to eat this meal every time I go to Flagstaff.
Back to the heat tomorrow at 7am. I took the weekend off from my cellphone, if you messaged us or called us, hit me up after 7am tomorrow and I'll be on the line I PROMISE
It's been a long summer, my shop is regularly 60% humidity and 95 degrees, so when the weather said lows of 55 in Flag we jumped.
I'm away from phone and messages mostly this weekend enjoy a.... Relaxing???? Dinner with my wife. Send help.
Fat Olives
This Range Rover is a fourpeat for this customer with us, and I can't thank them enough.
They always have something unique for us to tint, and this one didn't disappoint.
4.4L V8, I love it
Thanks for all the patience today, I ran a little behind. The combination of humidity/heat was just right and it made my shop the hottest it has been ever. That heat slows me down a little because of various reasons.
I will always get all my work done the day of if I promised it, but occasionally (VERY SELDOM) I might be running behind, and the grace people give me is truly appreciated.
I didn't have any pictures from today (re: running behind) so here is a picture of Doug and Steve from
This older E Class wagon is absolute fire.
I asked her where she obtained it and she said it was a hand down from her mom, ugh... I wish.... All my parents handed down were these weird mannerisms and my inability to make eye contact.....
MaxPro CX 15 all around and MaxCool 70 nano-ceramic windshield.
Hey guys. It's really hot. I stocked the fridge with beverages. I just wanted to say thanks for not eating my pickle.
TINT REMOVAL
Frequently I hear "what if I take the tint off myself"
Welp, be my guest because it's not fun to do.
I do everything in my power to try and save the integrity of the glass, step one I "sweat" the film off, if it comes off in one happy piece I'm a happy guy. Step two, (when it usually doesn't) I then tint the back window with scrap film or extra film. The idea there is that not only will I reintroduce moisture to this old dry tint but I will also depend on the adhesive to do it's job and take the old tint off when I peel off the temporary tint I just put on. Step three? Steamer... And worst case scenario (my least favorite part of my job) a razor blade.
I only point this out because it's time consuming. Removals can take 30 minutes or they can take all day. There is no way to predict it, that's why we ask for them to be dropped off for the day.
(Extra note, lots of times when customers book mobile installers for removals... Those customers get a half ripped off car and a "I can't do this" response from someone as they drive off. Never should a full removal be done mobile if it's in particularly bad/old condition)
When someone schedules a 97 Saturn you don't expect it to go this hard.
MaxPro nano-ceramic on the windshield is keeping this car cool, stylish, blocking glare, improving day time visibility, and protecting the interior of this nearly 30 year old blast from the past.
Walking in downtown today we saw an interesting strategy not before implemented here at Gilbert Tint Works.
You bet your ass, tomorrow, I'm going to put an infrared meter on a throw blanket and see if it beats out our highest performing multi-layer nano-ceramic.
