Besides donating food, Seed Shack is donating $139.4 to round up the total donation to $1000.
Both Aimee’s Farm Animal Sanctuary and Goats with Horns Animal Sanctuary will each receive a $500 check from Seed Shack.

- Introduce drinks/specials/ soup of the week.
- Answer questions on menu according to guideline.
- Last check to ensure food’s quality is to standard/ match diner’s request before serving.
- Check each ticket item once out.
- Serve food, provide sauce/condiment.
- Observe dining process: maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water/ drinks; being alert to other special requests. Check on customer’s experience.
- Accurately process payment, and settle tickets
- Farewell/ thanks customers/ invite them to return.
- Clean tables/ dining area.
6. Collaborate/ communicate closely with the kitchen to ensure Seed Shack is operated efficiently.
- Allergens: Transmit orders accurately to kitchen of diners’ choices, special dietary needs, or special requests.
- Keep kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
- Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc.
7. Answer phone in a professional manner.
- Convey restaurant/menu information over the phone.
- Take pick- up order: give accurate estimate of pick up time.
- Take messages for management.
8. Handle conflicts/ customer’s complaints in a professional manner.
9. Make drinks/smoothies, help prepare simple items: fruits, ice cream, etc.
10. Perform cleaning tasks as directed.
11. Stock/ clean all front of house area during down times.
12. Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
13. Fill in for absent staff as needed.
14. Assist with special events as needed.

Seed Shack is looking for a Line Cook.

Wed 10 pm- 9:30pm
Thur 330 pm - 10pm
Fri 330pm - 10pm.
Some Sat/ Sun 10am- 5:50pm.
Around 30 hours per week.

Qualification Requirements:
• Previous cooking experience in restaurant and/or culinary experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Food handler/ manager certification
• Trained in knife skills and basic kitchen equipment.
• Ability to multi task under pressure and the ability to establish a positive rapport with many types of personalities
• Knowledge of plant- based cuisine preferred but not required.
• Disciplined and self-motivated.
• Ability to communicate with other team members.

Responsibilities:
• Adopt to Seed Shack’s culture of Altruistic, Kindness, Innovation, Harmony. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum team member morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness.
• Assists other Team Members as needed or when business needs dictate.
• Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Safely and correctly operates all equipment.
• Uses all chemicals properly in the correct quantities for safety and cost control.
• Prepares food that meets all food quality indicators: consistently with our standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards and prepared to customers’ expectations.
• Cook food within recommended time frames (average 15 mins ticket time)
• Controls costs by following prep sheets as designed to ensure the freshest product is served and eliminate waste.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas.
• Cleaning and maintenance of all kitchen mats, floors, walls and drains.
• Empties kitchen trash and cleans and maintains trash cans.
• Is dressed in accordance with basic dress code：looking neat, clean and professional at all times.
