We have found a microchip but the information is not up-to-date for us to contact the owners!

We are excited to welcome Dr. Melissa Rytter to our SVH team!

Dr. Rytter graduated from the University of Illinois with her Bachelor of Science in 2009 and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Having spent the first portion of her veterinary practice in Illinois, she and her husband are now enjoying Arizona life and all it has to offer. Her veterinary interests include small animal internal medicine and surgery. Dr. Rytter is also passionate about maintaining strong client communication. She will always treat your beloved friend as one of her own. Dr. Rytter's family includes her dog, Aida, and her cats: Piper, Cupid, Marie, and Lise.

Not every emergency needs to be treated at an ER facility! Here are some suggestions on when urgent care may be appropriate as opposed to ER care

Please call ahead to check on the availability of our urgent care team. If your pet requires a service that we cannot provide, we will refer you to an appropriate ER facility

Note: Walk-in urgent care appointments are at an additional cost, please call ahead!
