One of the grounding exercises we often use in session is called “Safe/Calm Place.” For many clients, their SCP is on a beach or in nature soaking up the sun. Today this little friend decided to get right into his SCP right outside our office in the creek bed!

Kid Clinic nurse practitioner earns University of Wyoming award Holly Hink, a local pediatric nurse practitioner, recently earned the Excellence in Nurse Practitioner Practice Award from the University of Wyoming.

Free Indeed is excited to share that Katelyn & Theresa will soon be EMDR trained and able to provide EMDR for clients of all ages (yes! children!) and all types of neurodiversity!

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy. Its primary utility is in the treatment of trauma, but it is effective for most mental health symptoms.

Free Indeed is excited to share that Theresa Buchanan will be joining us as a full time therapist this June!

Theresa has over 9 years of experience as a mental health provider. Early in her career she provided direct care at Normative Services and Campbell County Health Kid Clinic. After this she took on her current role of school counselor at Hillcrest Elementary, where she has faithfully met the needs of children and families of Gillette for the last 7 years.

It is a privilege to have such a committed and experienced provider coming along side us to serve our community!
