Shawn Ladd’s Cancer journey

Hey Gillette Friends!
I’ve sent an invite to join this group. Chances are you may know Shawn and Teddie Ladd personally or be a frequent customer of the Gillette Cheese Barn!!
We’ve created this page to help support them during Shawn’s cancer journey. We have two goals in mind, to raise money for upcoming cancer treatments and to give Teddie a space to update friends and family.

Shawn has an upcoming appointment in Denver for genetic testing to determine what chemotherapy will be best to use for his body/cancer. Pending bloodwork results, treatment starts with a three week stay at a Reno Nevada Cancer Center.
The cancer has shown to be aggressive. We’re hoping to raise money for the down payment to get Shawn started ASAP. 

Treatment will cost in the $50,000 range.
We have set up PayPal, Venmo, and CashApp links in the group. If you feel inclined and are able to help, all donations will go straight to the Ladd’s.
We have a short term goal of $10,000 to help with the down payment to start care. 

Shawn and Teddie have kept a positive outlook and if you know them in our community, you know that they have unwavering faith.

Can you believe Cindy‘s been with us at the front desk for a year already?? We can’t either!
She has been 100% instrumental in getting us back on track! We don’t know what we would do without her!

How can we help you today??

Just today, we had a patient come in who we hadn’t seen for a couple of months. At his last visit he was focusing on right shoulder pain he had been experiencing for years. He didn’t know if we would be able to help him, but he thought he’d give it a try. Today he updated us that yes he was sore for a couple days after, but his shoulder pain had completely resolved. He asked if we could do the same thing for his low back into his left hip!

An awesome win for aligning the Musculoskeletal System! 🙌

Good Morning!
We will be out of the office Thursday Feb 15 and Friday Feb 16. Dr. Kari is taking her daughter to Denver.

Calamity is doing well! We are still in the information gathering phase to decide the best way to move forward...
Thank you for all your well wishes over the last 8 months. She is a strong kid and I'm very proud of her!!

Good Morning!
We WILL be in the office this week and next week, working full days 8:30am-5pm Monday-Wednesday November 20-22.

We will be out of the office next week Thursday and Friday Nov. 23-24 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

We had a change of schedule at National Jewish Health. They moved appointments they had scheduled next week to this week, so Cali can be discharged Friday. That means instead of being at the office Thursday and Friday this week we’re driving back to Denver tonight! I’ll be with Cali for the last two days of testing then we’re all coming home Saturday! With school starting Monday it’ll be good to get Cali going on the right foot and not missing the first week. We’ll get in the swing of things for school, but in the next few weeks we’ll have to take a couple more days off to go back to Denver for more tests.

Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding. And thank you for all the good vibes, prayers and healing energy sent our way! 
I appreciate the grace given being away from the office and the all support for Miss Calamity. ❤️

AO Chiropractic will be closed Monday and Tuesday, August 14 and 15th and Thursday and Friday, August 24 and 25th.

Miss Calamity is stable, but still on a blood pressure medication. She’s headed to National Jewish Health in Denver for 2 weeks to see if we can get some answers! I’ll get her settled and bring her back, but thankfully my mom is willing and able to help us out and stay with Cali so I can go back-and-forth.
We’re hoping we get in front of the right practitioners to get a definitive diagnosis! 🙌

She just had a sleep study.. we figured out with the pulse oximeter light on her finger and some delayed shutter time we could create these fun pictures! 😂
