We have worked ourselves to the bone trying to get everything we could out of the BookBuyers space (Thank you so much volunteers!). We have a ton of good work coming up on getting the foundation running and achieving it's goals but, today we rest.

All of our book inventory has been purchased by Powell's Books and another reseller has taken much of our media. Starting today we are going to be selling our fixtures (bookcases, carts, etc.) The books have not yet been removed but you are welcome to select a shelf for purchase and we will reserve it for you to be picked up next week when they are empty. Please help support us by getting some shelves for your spare room or garage. One can never have too many bookcases! Happy (the bookstore cat needs a new home too) Thank you for helping.

So far the number of people coming to help us liquidate has been encouraging. The more we sell the less we have to pack up and we can put the money towards the foundation which will help to fulfill our mission! Please read our mission below.

So sad to say, Dear friends of Book Buyers in Gilroy. We have lost our lease. We have worked so hard to make a wonderful place to buy good used books and media but it is time to say goodbye to this space. Since we only have 30 days to move we are discounting all books 30%. We are open from 11 to 7 (not Tuesdays). Please stop in and help us move out the books!
