Tonight Jill and I drove back up to PA to visit Tumbleweeds again. I found some more awesome treasures! I found some great pieces to stage my shoppe, but I am sure someone will want to buy them 😅

So I finally pulled this beauty out.. and I forgot that it so heavy! I had to carry it from the house to the studio.. I kept praying not to drop it! I do not need any bad luck! lol..

I started painting the rest of the frame and let me tell you..It took me one hour just to get through a quarter of the frames nooks and crannies. My hand was starting to cramp 😅 I will pick the brush again tomorrow. I am using DIY’s vintage linen.. then I am going to add gilding wax….not sure what shade I am going to use. I am guessing I have at least 6 hours of physical work left on this project but it’s going to be beautiful!

I was able to seal the small plant table today. I will add the hardware one it’s dry. I like my projects to cure for at least 5 days. Michelle will be able to place her beautiful live plants on this soon. I said live because I can’t grow plants. Lol

I sold the MCM Ransburg Canister set to the nicest lady today. She is decorating her Airbnb rentals with MCM decor.

A beautiful set of three vintage solid brass vases. Large one 7.5 in, 2 Smaller ones 5 in. Minimal surface wear with light patina on the underside. Nice weight to hold greenery or even candles. Only $25.00 for all three. Shipping is available if needed at buyers cost.

Vintage Hazel Atlas Glass sugar, creamer and butter dish. All three pieces for $39.00 on my page. Posting here before Etsy. Excellent condition with no to very minimal use if any at all.

I hope everyone is having a great Sunday!! I am refreshing a sweet table with a nice smooth working drawer. This is all solid wood. No particle board etc.

1st photo it does not look bad but it needed a complete refresh. I sanded and cleaned then applied DIY’s Vintage Linen. I’m going to go back in and seal it completely. I have a few pieces of hardware to choose from to replace the current drawer pull. This will be available at The Tin Can if not sold before it gets there!

While I was at the Amish market this morning… I looked down at my feet… I questioned myself “Who dressed me this morning?” 2 different striped socks and floral shoes 😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s a creative thing.. right?

Amazing picking at Tumbleweeds this morning at the Barn Sale!! Once I get home and set up in the studio I will post a haul video! A big thanks to my bestie Jill for supporting me and driving me to Pennsylvania in this snow. We also stopped at the Amish market and bought some goodies!! Donuts and a bag of veggies….. it’s all about balance 😜

Good Morning!! It’s a cold morning here in Maryland!! I have started my work day with my Amtrak project but at 3pm I will be back in the studio. I organizing and packing up up items to donate. I added some new listings to Etsy last night and have orders to ship. I also have housework to do! It seems like it never ends. I would like to thank you all for your support by following and sharing my page, comments and purchased treasures. Most of you know I work my shoppe part time. It can be very challenging but it’s always rewarding. I have met so many wonderful people and so many other creators. I have also learned many things this past year too.

2024 is going to be an exciting year for DVS. I am in the process of moving into a larger space at The Tin Can, my Etsy store is open online and sales are picking up. I am going to be traveling this year to hunt for treasures and I hope to have more videos of those trips! I am hoping to bring more content that will be useful and encouraging. I know if I was able to run this shoppe full time I would meet my goals much faster. One of them is gaining more followers. Shooting for 500!!
