I want to share something that’s been on my heart. Launching my own brand is nothing new to me. However, I am often put face-to-face with one of my personal challenges. I’ve always told myself that I’d step in front of the camera to model my creations once I hit my weight loss goals. But life is a work in progress, and so am I.

I’ve come to realize that waiting for the “perfect” moment or the “ideal” version of myself is like waiting for a train at the airport—it’s not coming. So, I’m choosing to step out of my comfort zone and show up for my brand, as I am, right now. My journey of self-improvement doesn’t pause, but neither does my passion for what I’ve created.

I’m learning to be kind to myself through this process, to embrace the body that allows me to bring my visions to life. Yes, I’m still on a path to a healthier me, but that doesn’t mean I can’t be proud of where I am today. We’re all works in progress, and that’s okay.

It’s May 1st Faithgirls! Although this year is moving FAST, I don’t want you to be discouraged by not seeing the things you’ve been praying for, manifest yet! I know you have heard it all before, that God’s timing is perfect, and his timing doesn’t seem to be on time at all lol. I can tell you from experience, when the time is right, your blessings and all that you have prayed for will be back to back and overflowing!

During 2020, at the height of the pandemic my family and I moved into our home…With our expenses nearly tripling. My husband was so nervous to make this move, especially with him being a entrepreneur, and at the time the world was on pause. So all he was thinking about is…my coins about to be on pause and they were! God still had everything align! Our finances covered everything that was required, we didn’t miss one payment! One meal! God provided and he continues to provide, because we were within His timing! He already knew and had planned for all of our needs!

Summer is around the corner, and we going into it claiming it’s a Faithgirl summer! We expecting, and anticipating answers to our prayers!! I love you💕

1. Retreat- spend some quiet and alone time with yourself. To recharge, and to be away from the constant noises. We need this time to hear God, journal our thoughts, and prevent burnout.

2. Start morning devotional and affirmations. It’s great to form healthy habits. Speaking positivity and life over yourself and your day before it begins, sets you up for success! Your mind is focused on conquering the day, no matter the obstacles that may come.

3. Be of service- sometimes we can be so immersed with ourselves, our life, our needs, our wants, that we forget to be a blessing to others. As we are taking the attention off ourselves, we often can find ourselves surprised by something we were in need of being fulfilled , while we were busy fulfilling someone else’s need.

I’m a woman with a vision and a purpose, to encourage other women! For years my purpose was to do that through my ministry of makeup artistry! I provided many life changing beauty experiences to my clients! I say life changing, because it was rewarding for me to see how the beauty transformation gave my clients so much confidence, and self love! There’s nothing like clients that stay with you through the years, as well as refer others to you!

This kind of passion lead me to open two salons! I wanted to connect with other beauty professionals who shared the same passion as I did! I wanted to provide a space for us to continue to provide awesome customer service to our clients! While working in a stress free, no drama, no jealously kind of environment! I have met beauty professionals, that has become like family on that journey, so I would say mission accomplished by the grace of God!

The journey that I am now on today, is beautifying women on the inside. Us women endure so much silently, that we often have voids and needs, and we just continue to operate with these huge holes within us. Or often times, we do life alone, or we are surrounded and loved by many, yet still feel alone. Faithgirl intends to fill that void, by providing a safe community to connect with other women, resources to help navigate life, mental, physical, spiritual , and financial guidance, life skills, entrepreneurial skills, family resources, relationship resources, and so much more!
