Want to make your trip to the Summit as comfy as it could be? Here are some tips from Kenny from Media to help ensure your time here is as comfortable as it gets!
1. Rain coat, you never appreciate being dry until you’ve been soaked by rain.
2. Water bottle, the first item Summit branded that I purchased while being here.
3. Shower shoes, just some quality of life additions for showering.
4. Stuffed Companion, this one is optional, but why not bring them along, I have three of mine in my office!
5. Pillows, your neck will thank you for bringing this with you.
6. Hygiene products, you’ll want to be all nice and clean after your day full of fun!
7. Sunscreen, because treating a sunburn at camp is a pain.
8. Sleeping bag, to make sure you are cozy and warm at night, a 50 degree one should do the trick!
9. Sweatshirt, West Virginia weather can be very unpredictable, so it is better to be prepared.
📣Let’s celebrate our Blueberry Picks Of The Week! These awards recognize exceptional customer service within our Summit team. Facing your fears can be tough, but here at the Summit, we celebrate even the smallest of achievements.
"As Scouters, we will always be prepared to help you, but it is so much more exciting when we can coach you through becoming 'your own hero'. Seeing you accomplish your goal, seeing you get yourself out of a troubling situation. Watching you leave recognizing your own growth--as you walk away with a bit more confidence and swagger, cheered on by your friends, it brings us joy.” States Robert Lyda, one of our seasonal Aerial directors.
